Decided against the wine - had a Fab instead

Photoshopped the photos and uploaded them only for the page to crash! Will have another go at getting it listed tonight, but I'm fading fast.
We've spoken to the kids. Little DD is in her element, DD1 is still sobbing
Then DH made me feel terrible by saying "Well, she is only 5, she's only a little girl"
Now, I feel like a terrible mother, like I'm forcing them out! They've NAGGED all week to have a sleepover! I give up.
Tomorrow is a new day

Good Morning!
Another lovely day here :j I had planned to go for a run this morning, but am aching all over from yesterday's marathon car cleaning (plus DVD's in the morning), so will go tomorrow and Sunday instead.
I'm picking the girls up at around 9.30am, will have a cuppa with Mum and then we're visiting a friend. Probably go to the park after that and do some more bike practise.
But first I'm going to paint my windowsill and compress my car pics. They were taking ages to load last night, so I'll need to sort that this morning and get the listing ready for tonight. Fingers crossed for big bucks!
Off to scratch and have some porridge!0 -
Hi Macgirl,
At that age they do get tired and irritable when over excited, so maybe that's why she got so upset.
It's in her interest to get used to sleepovers, what happens if you had to go away in an emergency, it would make matters far worse.
You & OH do need time together, and children do have to get used to the idea that adults do have time alone too.
Hope you're all OK this morning.0 -
Sounds like another productive day in the macgirl household! Enjoy the sunshine and good luck with the car photos.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Yes, that was my thinking. That's it in a nutshell, but then I felt the guilt
I'm going to ring them in a minute, but I know they'll be ok.
Hope life's treating you well over there

Tried again to load up photos - don't know what the prob is because they are not too big......will try later
Phoned the kids - they are fine
Just having a coffee with the last of the milk, so need to get out of my painting clothes and buy some more as DH is working at home this morning (though still in bed  alright for some)0 -

I did 3 miles
Wouldn't exactly call it "running" but I did overtake some people walking, so it could certainly be described as a steady jog  Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
