I did 3 miles :D Wouldn't exactly call it "running" but I did overtake some people walking, so it could certainly be described as a steady jog

:T:T:T I almost mentioned that to you this morning, but thought better of it!

Good for you - 3 miles is 3 miles and more than I've done today!

Second coat of paint done. Visited friend who gave us loads of glitter and arty things for the kids. We came home and I let them loose with it all.

BIG MISTAKE. There is now gold glitter everywhere. So another"fun" afternoon cleaning and hoovering!

But I am out this evening for an early bird meal with visiting family, who are loads of fun (DH is babysitting :D). I really want to get the car listed before I go out so must get my bum in gear and find all the relevant documents.

    Right - lunch time!

I hope you have a glitter-tastic afternoon then! And enjoy your meal out - early bird deals are usually pretty good!!

    Oh it is glitterastic alright!

Thanks, I will be choosing the cheapest thing - which may not be the least calorific thing on the menu :D

Little DD has just said she's tired and wants to go to bed! :j Whoopee! So I'm going to get 1 of the large boxes of paperwork down from my bedroom and wade through it.
Hopefully, it'll be the right one and have all the necessary car info and registration docs etc. Wish I was off every week - I would be totally sorted (and then possibly very bored - and skint)

Well she decided to have a nap in our bed, then asked if I would stay with her. So I got in beside her and closed my eyes to give the the right idea. Zzzzzzzzz

Next thing 20 minutes have passed and I'm fast asleep  Little DD meanwhile decided against said nap and she's gone downstairs!

Really must get on as I'm out at 6 and need to blitz the house, find the docs and list the car. I will be cross with myself if I don't get that done. I also need to find time to beautify myself, do my nails and feed the kids before Daddy gets home.

Plus STILL haven't contacted the house insurance about the leak  (when I remember who we are insured with and find THOSE docs)

I must develop a decent filing system - I've got a filing cabinet that my parent's gave me - but everything's just chucked in boxes......

That has to be my next mission for the next quarter.

Good morning, feeling a little delicate today - so no running :o

We had a slight trauma yesterday afternoon. I was putting clothes away and sorting through them for Ebay/Charity when I heard DD1 cry out - the sort that makes you drop everything and run. She had got DH's exercise band, wrapped it around the bed post and was sliding across the wooden floor in our bedroom. She thinks this is great fun and howls with laughter, but I didn't know this was happening (bad mommy).

Anyway she must have slid at speed and bashed her head on the post (it's a trad style wrought iron bed) cutting it open. It's only a small cut but was deep, so I frantically got them ready, calmed her down and spent 2 hours in A&E getting it glued back together.

I decided against going out, but DH insisted I did and I'm glad. I had a great time and best of all - did not spend a penny!

No car listed, no docs found and no house insurance sorted, so there is today's money mission.

Off to scratch, hope you have a good day if you're reading :)
