Well done Mrs ! You certainly have had a productive day . I must really take a leaf out of your book ..... I can be very lazy and never seems to get things done:o

    Have a lovely evening

    Thanks Hun :)

Yesterday was my down day - I did b0gger all except eat my own body weight in chocolate and go to the flicks. But as I'm on holiday this week, I really want to get things done as I usually leave the house at 6.30am and get back ready to drop at 6pm. So not much gets done in the week in our house, apart from the bare minimum.

I want to try and combine fun things with the kids with sorting things in the house. I have lots of clutter which I'm slowly wading through after the "wilderness years" when little DD didn't sleep. Lots of clutter built up during those years as I was always exhausted.

Now I feel I have my life back, I want to sort things out and move forwards.
Have a good evening yourself :) (I'll be ironing - it's still winking at me)

I'm the same as you - work long hours, full time and then resentful of the fact that I have to use my precious annual leave just to catch up with the state of the place!

But when the weather is sunny, I actually don't mind doing it - I have either had the music on loud, or working outside to just the sound of the birds, and I have done quite a lot.

Shame it doesn't actually look any better, and shame that it highlights just how much there is still to do, but I don't feel as though it is a waste of a day off today :)

My washer and drier have been on all day, so I will be joining you in the ironing marathon this evening......

It's good to know I'm not alone!

I did enjoy the gardening and have been looking out of the window beaming like a village idiot ever since. I don't mind doing things like that, I actually even enjoy cleaning. It's the constant picking up after everyone that bothers me. But I just give myself a talking to and I'm alright again.

    Well done Mac.

The washing machine is on again here and I've started the movement of furniture, dusting (if it can be called that when it's half an inch thick) and vast de-cluttering. I just want it to all to be over and for it never to need
touching again...maybe if I spray the whole house house with teflon.

Worth a go. I like Joan Rivers' approach:

I've just come in from work and the tidying fairies haven't been in while I've been out. In fact I'm sure it was better when I left, are you sure you haven't moved your stuff round here?

    Sounds quite productive day.
