As I was contemplating whether to do my hair, do the ironing or tidy the front room incase of visitors - there was knock at the door - !!!!!!!

Luckily it was a friend, so we had a cuppa whilst I apologised profusely for the state of the place and the copious amounts of "stuff" on the dining room table - when will it end???????!!!!!

Anyway, she went, I did my hair and slapped on some make-up.
Blitzed around, putting away toys, bits of paper, bits of Easter Egg etc etc etc etc etc.

Meanwhile the kids have been mithering non-stop. Can I play on your computer? Can I play with Playdoh? Can we play outside? Can I play on the Wii? Please can I have a yogurt/ice cream/easter egg etc etc Arrghhhhhh!!!!! (Defo have PMT :o:o:o). Each activity ends after 5 minutes as they are getting bored so easily. They are now playing Crazy Golf - in the hall (I'm past caring)

Nevermind, only 6 sleeps until I'm back to work :D

No rest for the wicked 40SM ;)

We went out to buy compost and seeds, got them buy 2 get 3rd free, so that was good. We did have to buy a DVD player though (in the interests of exercising of course), plus we don't have SKY so do watch a lot of films. Sainsburys had a Sony one reduced, but of course they were all gone when I got there, so got a video and DVD combo for £69.99 :o

We had lunch, then weeded the garden, swept the decking, planted the new things bought from the market yesterday and sowed seeds for tomatoes, sweet peas, lobelia and something else I can't remember. So they are all now in the greenhouse shelving unit thingy.

The kids loved it, so my ability as a good and productive mother has been restored :A

Last night's left over Shephard's Pie is in the oven and all is well with the World :)
