I am that chilled out I am looking for pictures to reply with
If you don't get it, is there a charity shop around you that does furniture. We have found really good furniture in an antiques village near us and also in a house clearance place which haven't cost the earth and are built to last - oh my I sound like my mother.
Is it really bad that I'm waiting for kids to go to sleep to steal a section of Easter Egg from them.............1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j
2nd debt - MBNA - £6,618.52
First in many many to go - baby steps and all that!
First lump sum to go - fingers crossed!

Oooh, could you PM me to tell me which one please? Hopefully not the really expensive AT one is it?
Thing is, this one has already been lovingly restored. When the auctions over I'll post a pic.
As for Eggs, we're drowing in them here after the shock discovery that the kids don't like them? !!!!!!?!!0 -
Didn't get it. I placed my max bid and it's already gone beyond that. TBH I reckon I could get hold of one similar and restore it myself. Not meant to be, shame because it would have looked lovely in our bedroom0

Good Morning.
I got up to do half an hour of Davina arms and half an hour of belly fat, but the DVD player is not working for some reason. So went for an hours run instead.
It was hard work this morning. I'm loosely following a training plan and today was:
2 miles easy run
2 miles comfortably fast
2 miles easy run
I wasn't really in the mood, but kept repeating I am fit I am Fast I am lean I am strong (I am none of those)
Anyway, a good start to the day. I've got the Manchester 10K next month and the Great North Run on the horizon, so must keep ploughing on.
Today, I am going to iron Mount Etna, change the beds and blitz upstairs.
Then we will start tidying the back garden, plant the new plants and sow some seeds. Think we might need a bag of compost for the seeds and little DD wants to do tomatoes, so we'll need seeds. Hoping to spend no more than a fiver.
Then if weather permits - it does look rather grey and threatening - we'll start Day 1 of learning to ride a bike. DD1 was in tears when I lied and said we had already taken the stabilisers off, so DH placated her by saying we can take them off at the park!!! Doubt I'll be taking a spanner with me
I'm also going to dig out my house insurance [STRIKE]dogs[/STRIKE] (that would be DOCS :rotfl:), to get the kitchen ceiling / bath leak fixed.
And, perhaps try to find a furniture auction to track down a nice old wardrobe ripe for restoration!
Hope you have a good day0 -
So far:
Beds stripped
1 load of washing done - 2nd load in
Kitchen cleaned, including cooker - floor swept and mopped
Dishwasher on
Tumble Dryer on (electric meter whirring around at light speed)
Showered, dressed but hair has self-dried in "Yeti-woman" styley (hope no one knocks at the door)
Bathroom cleaned - binbag "dance" completed upstairs
Ironing board up - I've just looked at the pile so far - must shake a leg
I keep chuntering to myself about taking precious holidays to clean the house grrrrr! (may possibly have pmt)
Coffee, nutracheck, then ironing - back later0 -
