Macgirl's "Stop Procrastinating and Get on with it" Diary

Hi Micron :hello:
Yes, I often waste hours on here, so need a kick up the bum (or the threat of someone visiting) to stop me procrastinating - have a good weekend and hope you manage to get everything done
Just seen on NUTRACHECK, there's 25% off a 3 month membership for £14.99 (usually £19.99) :money: You can still do the 5 day free trial too, so for anyone who wants to lose weight and save cash - I highly recommend it!
Thanks for the encouragement. I'm logging off now to get started on my list.Save £12k in 2017 #14
How much will you spend in 2017 #40 -
BTD, have just posted my congrats on your diary - that is brilliant :T
I think I've lost a lb this week, but am waiting until tomorrow.
Just been out and had pizza, wine and chocolate knickerbocker glory type thing:o:o so will need to run from John O'Groats to Land's End to work that lot off :rotfl:
We had a lovely time and have pledged to meet up more often.
We've been invited to a family music festival in the Summer and as I was heartily agreeing, DH was looking at me as if to say "we can't afford it"
Why does everything cost money? Neither of us can rely on bonuses, so there are never lump sums we can count on.........better see how my Ebay is doing.
I did do a bit of ten pin bowling - wonder if that counts as exercise.......off to (nutra)check. Hope you've had a good day if you're reading.0 -
Hi mac thanks for comments on mine! I am sure bowling is excercise!!xx0

You betcha - 117 calories for half an hour. Add that to the hour's "moderate" cleaning and 45 mins running and I've added 916 to my diary today :j
But I have also added 2218 calories  WW soup for the rest of the week0 -
Good Morning, managed to have a very rare lie-in this morning!
Well, I slept until about 7, then snoozed til 8, then read in bed with little DD popping in and out until 8.40 - better than nothing I suppose
I then got up, went to the butchers, local shop and spent £27, which should see us through to next weekend.
Today, I plan a lazy day with starvation levels of food consumption! Tomorrow, we're meeting friends and their kids at a Stately home - so that won't be cheap. We are taking a packed lunch and have a voucher to get the kids in free, but still  I feel anxious spending.
I'm going to have to dream up up some cheap or free activities for the kids next week...
Off to scratch - fingers crossed for £5000 -
Fingers crossed for that £500
Enjoy your weekend - sometimes spending is greater than anticipated, but if it is rare occasions, that is fine.
What I am trying to do is to keep a record of what I really am spending this year on "treats" - days out, holidays, meals out (if only) etc, and then next year I can incorporate it properly in my budget.
Perhaps if you keep a tally of how much you spend on family trips, going out with friends etc, it would help you in future years to not feel guilty about it?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. That's a good idea, thanks Hypno. I'll defo do that on my all new super dooper spending diary spreadsheet0

Just mapped a run for in the morning - 7.43 miles, so looking forward to that!
Right, I'm under pressure to let DD play on Cbeebies website, so will pop back later - have a good day all0 -
Just walked into town and back - so mucho calories burnt there :A
I planned to buy some shoes/boots with a 20% off voucher I had - but nothing took my fancy. I also looked in numerous clothes shops, but nothing could part me from my cash. I really have changed :j
I walked back through the park and it was lovely to have a hour to myself.
I'm going to have lunch, then spend the afternoon number crunching. DH and I need to formulate a Grand Plan for 5 years and beyond, so it of course starts with money
DH and the girls are baking buns, though I've just heard him say "Don't sneeze on the mixture!!" to little DD, so I'll give them a wide berth0 -
Ah, buns with snot - guaranteed to help you stick to your diet :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
