Hi Macgirl
Your running posts have inspired me to take up and keep doing my running again, albeit very slowly:rotfl:. Did another 30 mins jogging/ walking last night. Will do another tomorrow or Friday.
Like yourself, I'm about £18k in debt and know its going to be a long haul - DMP starts next month - but quote a well know phrase "Winners don't quit and quitters don't win!":D .
On another topic, found one of those free scratchcards...like you get in the Sunday papers. It says Ive won a cash prize but have to obtain a claim number and send card off. Is it worth doing , vene if its only £10, i.e. not a scam?DFW'er - Lightbulb moment : 31st July 2009 - £18,499
28th October 2019 - £13,505 - 27% paid off.

:hello: Hello, I'm back, thanks everyone for your kind posts
Had a busy couple of days but it was very productive and good to get away from the office to get a bit of perspective.
Yes, I have to admit, last night I was able to lie on my bed in peace for an hour, then out for eats and drinks - so although it was work, it was a nice break
I was lulled into a false sense of Summer after the last few mild days - so didn't bring a coat - it was FREEZING!!!! It was snowing on the way home  (sorry for anyone reading in Scotland - I know I'm a lightweight)
Chris well done on the running :T "Winners never Quit, Quitters never win" is a favourite saying of mine tooThe scratchcards I do are online and you can find info about them HERE
Hope everyone's well, will catch up properly tomorrow x0 -
Last day at work for a whole week and a bit! :j:j:j
We're meeting friends from London tomorrow, then meeting up with some other friends on Sunday, but other than that it will be chilled out (and hopefully cheap) days planned - as well as plenty of running and exercise DVD action.
20p on the scratches today and £10 in from winnings. DH and I are going to sit down to go through the finances later, so that should be interesting. I really want him to have a clearer picture as he's far more disciplined than I am.
Happy Easter weekend everyone (anyone)!0 -
