Still no coat - so I reckon we have to kiss goodbye to that one
I am going to call them during the week though, just to double check!
Busy day today and apart from a cheque for £32 for the girls ballet lessons an NSD :j
I went for a 5 mile run this morning and have been spring cleaning, taxiing to various children's activities, DIY-ing and decluttering aplenty.
Loads of stuff has been sorted into Ebay / Chazza / Chuck piles. I found some brand new Nike ACG ski stuff - jacket and pants - didn't even remember I had themThey would have come in handy during the snow.
To think I hovered many times over £200 North Face jackets this winter, and I already had one in a box under the bed!
I've even made my inspiration board!!! :T I am pooped!
Sadly I have had a couple of Hot Cross Buns - Hormonal sugar urges that I can't ignore
Hope everyone has had a good day - nice to see a stretch in the evening - proof that Spring is springing up nicely0 -
NIKE ACG stuff ebays well
Hot cross buns.....now I could quite fancy one of those right now!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I know, but really I want to keep hold of them. Not very MSE but I bought them years ago in a Sports Discount store and they were very cheap.
We do intend to ski again - one day - so it will save on the expense.
Plus the jacket will be very good for family days out, when I think "Oooh I could really so with one of those jackets"
Not realising I had one hiding at home for years!!! :mad:0 -
I definitely think you should keep hold of them, I am amazed at things that I bought that cost a fortune and I had "forgotten" about. I found a receipt secreted in my drawer at work recently - secreted for a very good reason £195 for a handbag a few years ago :eek::eek::eek: Bonkers or what!

No, it was just her little fashionista coat. Bet Lynch styley - she picked it herself
3.5 and already a style icon - that's my girl! :rotfl:
It was only from H&M, I am gutted, I really was appealing to people's better nature. Why would you not hand in a child's coat? Sad....0 -

Hi thanks IMD, yes I did.
No spending to speak of. Just DIYing (well finishing long lost jobs), decluttering, MOUNTAINS of laundry and ironing :A, took the kids swimming and to the park and I did a 10k before 8am :j It was FREEZING though.....
Other than that was a bit quiet really!Needless to say I was exhausted last night. I popped on for a quick mooch but was too tired to type!
Hope you are all well, will catch up properly tonight xx0 -
Sounds like an excellent day! I did walk into the city to do a mystery shop - so an hour's brisk walk in the sunshine - that'll do. I also battled the supermarket, so consider that to equal any 10k run :rotfl:

No - I'm not superhuman - just the run before 8am
An NSD today :j I had an optician's appt at lunch and went looking for the other Davina DVD, but luckily they didn't have it - so :money:
Sadly though my car tax reminder was here when I got home, so £120 to shell out this evening  Other than that, nothing to report. Very cold here, but the Sun is shining, so blue sky is always welcome on a Monday - plus I drove home in DAYLIGHT!!! Yippeeeeee!0
