Only one pack actually had any sticker on to show it had been marked down in price, and only when the sa put the code in from the back of the boxes did it show the current ( REDUCED) price. ALL the packs were reduced on the till i.e the till showed the sa the lower price ( presumably from the central computer) not the sa overriding the full price - so cannot understand how Cambridge were at the full price - unless Halfords do not have a central computer with National prices OR Could it be NEW STOCK ? I know the boxes I got today had definitely been on the shelf for quite a while - dust ? They were filthy !!
But they always say "where theres muck theres money" !!:D

Do BSM accept these vouchers easily? My concern is buying a good few vouchers and BSM saying no you can only use these for your first few lessons, and refuse to accept them as payment.

terms and conditions are on back of vouchers and theres nothing in terms to state that you can only use voucher for first lessons

this is the bargain of the year!!!

    thanks OP

Thanks for this my son is 17 in September and I have bought 20 hours worth of vouchers. The guy who served me in Halfords stamped the vouchers with a Halfords validation stamp that didnt have a date on and told me he was taking driving lessons himself and had used some of the vouchers with no problems at all. He also said he wouldnt date stamp them so they would be valid for longer than a year. I am really tempted to go and get some more today as my other son will be 17 a year later. Am I being greedy? How many lessons do you reckon before taking a test bearing in mind my son is a playstation/psp addict and thinks he will pass his test after 5 lessons!!!!!!
Dont they think lifes easy these days! He is taking exams at the mo with such a relaxed outlook gosh I was so nervous when I took mine how life seems to have changed!

    Hi,
I went into Halfords today and they had learner driver starter packs reduced. I bought one with:
vouchers for four hours of driving lessons with BSM
voucher for one hour in the driving simulator
voucher for £1.50 off each of the next 16 hours of lessons
    Highway Code
all the forms etc needed to get started
This lot cost £34.95, lessons near here are around £25 per hour so an absolute bargain. They had quite a few and others with one or two hours of lessons.
Hope this is of use to someone.
