Anyway just wanted to thank everyone who comes onto the threads and contributes.
you inspired me to start SW 7 weeks ago, i only do EE days, having not done SW before found this very easy.

    thanks again
At last I have a signature.
  • I have just been given a ginormous tin of heroes, from a colleague at work, what the hell am I going to do with them. I will share obviously with my colleagues, but once they are open I have no self control.........I also have a pencil slim colleague who will insist on them being opened asap

frankie - can you factor some into your syns (2syns each I think)? Or put them somewhere you don't often go or a colleagues desk?
  • Hi there,

I hope you are getting on better now Skint Catt - you have been very encouraging to others on here and it would be a shame to undo everything.

As everyone says, you should be ok for next weigh in, given that some losses take a while to show - eg an extra week.

One thing I have to keep reminding myself is that sometimes when I am really thirsty (and have not drunk nearly enough water at work), I crave chocolate - I can put away 3 bars/packets easily. But I think its actually because I am dehydrated. I often forget this until I have devoured the choc and then still feel like I need something else and its a drink that really satisfies me.

It sounds really simple, but quite often I dont make the connection. I happened last night at the station on the way home.

Doh. Today is another day though. Roll on me sorting myself out!

Thanks - yes back on it today though I have promised OH a takeaway in front of Children in Need tonight - so a mushroom biryani for me (11.5 syns) and lots of water & melon until then!
Gorgeous sunny (and actually quite warm) day here today though I feel for anyone that's had the floods - hope everyone here is ok & dry!

    C xx
  • Sophster - I think yo are spot on with the dehydrated thing. The weeks I do best are when i drink lots of water. At first I put it down to filling up with water and not eating enough but then when I looked at what I ate, my 'proper' foods were the same and I just wasn't sneaking in the odd chocolate bar or naughty thing.

I have decided to have a new plan and use a HEA & B for breakfast and the same for lunch, then just syn value anything I have for dinner that isn't free. I find that I scrimp for breakfast and lunch saving for later but then pig out.

I just had cheese and tomato toastie for brekkie.
  • ohhh C, enjoy your biriyani tonight! I had a king prawn chop suey & rice last night, so have had my takeaway already lol!

Have been stickng to plan 100% againt his week. My welcome letter from my consultant says "enjoy 15-20 syns a day" , but i usually stick to a max of 15, but this week I have gone slightly over soem days (and under on others). Im still classing it as 100% though, as it does say I can have up to 20 (Im a big lass, i guess thats why I am allowed more - consultant can you confirm this?).

Whoop! 20mins done on the cross trainer (102 cals). Having a rest & a drink then will try to do at least 20 more mins to earn my biryani tonight! ;)

Oh hope you enjoyed your chop suey. Yes, I've heard that some get extra syns but I'm sure Consultant will confirm. To be honest it's quite a good thing as you'll be able to reduce if you ever start to plateau. I struggled to get below the stone I'm heading for again, so I hope the exercise will see me through!

    Consultant - here's my fridge photo :D

Edited; just done another 20mins on the Cross Trainer and my knees are shaking now! Another 109 calories gone - so bring on the curry! :D
