lost 1.5lb last night. so thats 4lb in 4 weeks on average. not amazing weight loss but still better than nothing!

i am hoping for a 100% week this week.

1lb a week is a perfectly good weight loss. SW recommend 1 - 2lbs a week as sustainable and healthy. Think about it this way.....1lb every week adds up to almost 4 stone in a year :j

Yay Dollydee, you won't regret joining SW - it's the best!!
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I bet it's Barnsley - the football team are known as the Tykes (though that's South Yorks of course).

    Morning all, how is everyone?
I've not been on much cos I went back to work and have been really quite ill with D&V, on the upside I've lost 8lb since Saturday
Feeling so weak today and am scared to eat, i'm just going to stick with light free foods for the next couple of days, such as SW chips and spaghetti, maybe an egg, I'm not even going to attempt anything remotely heavy, I've never had D&V like that before and would not ever like it again, I felt like I was dying!

Hey astonsmummy - sorry you have been so unwell. I agree with Consultant31 - dry(ish) toast is the best thing. In fact junior rugrat and I have a bit of the old sickness today (not fully fledged D&V - and hopefully it won't develop into it) and all he can face is toast.

Also (and I know this sounds bizarre) diet sprite/7up and bananas are brilliant for settling an iffy tummy. I know it sounds wrong - but I was told this when abroad once - and it works a treat.;)
Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

I'll try the 7up, but bannanas are a big no no! I cant even touch them!

Got no bread, so have to go up the shop.

i think she said it because she was a new consultant - first night at our group and there were loads of new members so she gave us all a new members talk.

i think she was trying to say everyone could lose more than 1lb per week to encourage the new people.

i thought it was a stupid thing to say cause surely 4/5lb losses can't happen everyweek when i only have a stone to lose.
