Total 0% (syn free) compared to Total 2% (0.5 syn per 150g)

Am I the only one who would prefer to spend the 0.5 syn on Total 2% to get a far creamier and pleasant yogurt? I still cannot quite believe it only has that syn value as it is so creamy and lovely.

Here is my simple yet deliscious favourite dessert.

    I Muller Lite Banana yogurt
Dollop of Total 2% (I buy the large 500g tub)
    1T Elmlea cream (30%) 1 syn

If you also add a banana it is ultimately fillling beyond belief.

So that makes it 1 + a diddly part of a syn.

Another favourite dessert with a higher syn value (3 in all)

    Marions rice with sweetener
    2T Elmlea cream (2 syns)
half T golden syrup (1 syn)

This is totally comforting and winter blues defying.

Hi Mirry - I may well be wrong - but are they Quorn Cumberland Style Sausages by any chance?

As long as they are the Quorn ones - you're ok I think.
Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

  • Hi all, anyone know what sort of alcohol is the lowest in syns? Having a potentially heavy night for drinking and wanna do it in the lowest syn way. I like most drinks and I have vodka, gin, wine, cider and lager in the house. I can guess a couple of those will be high but which is lowest?

    Thanks :)
  • I missed breakfast this morning and was desperately hungry by 1pm, bought a cooked chicken and ate it all. (not the skin). so guess I am on a red day today. Am slow roasting some pork shoulder steaks, can anyone suggest what I can serve with it. I guess little or no carbs.

I also guess I wouldnt be able to have marions rice?

I always go with vodka and d.coke and gin and slimline tonic. The spirits are all 2 1/2 syns per 25ml so def the lowest with low cal mixer. Steer clear of beer and cider, your talking 5 1/2 syns per bottle and 10 syns per pint!!
Wine is around 6 syns per glass or 12-15 syns per half bottle.

Def go for vodka and d.coke not fruit juice.

    have a good night

Have you had any heb's? You could make it extra easy and then you can have potatoes or SW chips with your pork which sounds lovely. Id add some syns for the cooked chicken as it may have oil/sugar injected into the flesh, not sure how much though.
If your going EE then yes you can have Marions rice.
If youve had 2 heb's then id go red and serve with salad or as much veg as you can manage.
