Yes Liz3yy - your green day sounds spot on!

So did I Skint_Catt and I over estimated the syns to compensate :)

THanks, I feel better now about my green day. EE day tomorrow as OH fancies some steak and chips. I'm looking forward to it.

Is gravy really only 1 syn for 4 TABLESPOONS, thats alot! I only used 2 tablespoons and that was for me and my 2 boys (one being a baby)lol

I thought it was 1 syn per 4 tablespoons of made up gravy? not the gravy powder....don't quote me on that though!

    Hi all.

Hope you had a good weekend!

WI yesterday morning and I've lost 3lb..at last..that was the good news.

Last night we had a lovely Chinese meal and I just decided to eat what I wanted - it was so nice! I didn't even count it:naughty:

Anyway I am back on track today and am trying to lose another 7lbs by Xmas - though I think last night might catch up with me so I'll be happy with a STS this week.

Sending lots of encouragement to everybody - I will do this - despite the odd spring roll!
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

It's 1 syn for gravy made with 4 TBSP of gravy powder, thats what I meant, but I only used 2 because 4 makes too much for me and my boys.

Also, when you cook a chicken in the slow cooker, what do you do with the leftover stock and veg in the bottom?
I whizzed it up and added some to Ryans food, but didnt make gravy with it cos it looked a bit greasy??????

Evening guys. Does anyone have any recipes for scrummy warming vegetable soups? Maybe something slightly spicy?

Yes, so I multiplied 28g by the amount Liz3yy used

My spicy chilli bean soup is a few pages back - it's yummy!

The stock is technically free on SW (though I've no idea how 'cause it must have lots of fat in it). I don't put veggies in the bottom of my chicken but with beef I don't use them - they're usually overmushed and again must be covered in fat!
