Oh hun, big hugs. Hope you feel better soon. I always turned to food to make myself better too (have stopped it recently but don't know why!). All I can say is count your syns - stay honest with yourself and get back on it hun - get some low syn treats in if you fancy munching

Thanks guys, I'm the sort of person who takes these things to heart and broods over them, unlike my OH who would say bollox to it and move on.

I admit I ballsed up and feel stupid for it, it's not like me to forget to do something when I'm asked to. I hate the sales manager for talking down to me the way he did, telling me to look into it before storming out...grrrr :(

I legged it at 5pm without facing him again, though I did tell my boss what had happened and she said oh well, he'll get over it!

As for food....yeah I'm a comfort eater and constantly find ways to sabotage things when they seem to be going well. I think I need to sit down and have a long hard look at the plan again from scratch this weekend and sort myself out.

:hello: Red day today though still full of cold so not particularly hungry.

Going out for most of the day so just cooking up sausage, bacon & egg. Prawn stirfry for dinner I think :D

How can I make a good SW friendly tasty, cheese sauce?? (for lasagne)
If you used one of them packet cheese sauces they are only about 4 syns each (the morrisons one) so you'd have to syn the milk or HE it and then devide it by the number of portions.
Thats what I'm going to do cos I'm lazy :D

    Hello everybody

Had a good red day today, did loads of walking and swam. I'm a bit worried about tomorrow though.

My Mum and Dad are coming down in the evening. When they visit I always buy some junk for the kids (Pringles etc). They are bringing a quiche and some pizza that will not be SW. I thought I would have a green day and do some baked potatoes and perhaps a rice salad so that I've got something I can pig out on!

I also don't want to eat too much as Saturday is weigh day - just gonna have to control myself I suppose!

Saturday dinner will probably be more of the same and tea is Sainsbury's takeaway Chinese so I can look at the packets. Would a green day be best for this? I'm not quite so worried about Saturday as I'll have a whole week to minimise the damage!

Liz3yy - I am an emotional eater as well and separating eating and other stuff is one of the most difficult things I have to try to do. Hope you are feeling better now.

Hmm comfort food - chocolate scan bran cake? (joking!)

How about something like curly wurlys (6 syns and last FOREVER!), sugar free jelly whisked with a muller light to make a mousse (1 syn per quarter), Alpen Bars? If you fancy them I'm sure potato or lasagne crisps would be ok with tomato salsa dip (I think someone - nic? - gave me a recipe for free tomato salsa once!)
    Hmm, will have a think!

    Hi everyone!
Brand new n00b here! So glad to find an SW forum though - it's a shame there isn't one on the SW website but nevermind!

I did SW for 6 moths from Jan-July this year and lost 2 1/2 stone :) but then I kinda fell of the wagon for a few months and put 11 pounds back on  I've started again this week though, back at group and following EE mostly, so hopefully I can lose a stone by Christmas - counting down!

Anyway, a good replacement for bechemel/cheese sauce in lasagne is VLF cottage cheese. You dont need much, but it really does the job. Gives it a lovely cheesey taste and means you dont need too much cheese on top :)
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy

    WW 37lb (2 STONE 9lbs! :j ) lost since July, 11tybillion to go...
