Hi all, Catt, how did ya make scan bran cake and how many syns please?. Had a bad week last week foodwise but a lovely week otherwise, my son and daughterinlaw and my grandchildren came up from london a surprise visit
it was a lovely week but i didnt get to class and kind of ate everything i shouldnt have
.
I had better be good now until christmas, i'm already looking for SW friendly things to have over the festive season ( loved your christmas cake consultant31 :rotfl::rotfl:)
I have a challenge to make a gala pie type thing. So, i'm thinking extra lean minced pork, with chopped bacon and maybe a pack of turkey mince, blitzed in the processor with some herbs and finely chopped onion, then i was thinking could i make a kind of pastry casing for it with smash if i lined a loaf tin with the cooked smash and baked it in the oven??. Then i was going to lay boiled eggs inside the mince mixture and bake in the oven, once cooked take out of the loaf tin and put inside the smash case. Can it be done?? anyone else any ideas?
Sorry for the huge post lol good luck this week all x ollystopped smoking 4th jan 09

This was from Consultant31 so no credit taken here;
I cut it into 6 and have 1 slice per day!
Scan Bran Chocolate Cake (1 HEB + 6½ syns)
5 Scan Bran (1 HEB)
28g cocoa powder (4½ syns)
1 level tbsp. Golden syrup (2 syns)
15g powdered sweetener
2 eggs, beaten
Break scan bran into small pieces then sprinkle on hot water. Leave a few minutes then break up with a fork, until scan bran resembles breadcrumbs (use extra hot water as necessary). Stir in the cocoa powder, syrup and sweetener. Mix in the beaten egg and stir well.
Line a loaf tin with foil and spray with Frylight. Bake for 25-30 minutes in a medium oven (190c).

I AM SO COLD.
Hmm - had a bit of an Oatibix meltdown this evening when I got in from work. BUT its better than chocolate/cake/crisps etc so lets just move on.;)
Went to the gymn today and felt so lethargic - putting all these things together, I have to conclude that a star week is on its way:cool:

My start weight is 11st and have yo-yo between that and 10 and a half for months now I just feel so uncomfortable and I don't like the way I look but all thats gonna change i have 6 weeks till the christmas madness begins so I want to be under 10 and a half again by then.....1vs 100 £505500/335.25 (5.5K COMING DOWN)20.00/10,000(10K GOING UP)Not long now0 -

Evening all,
I'm hoping for STS this week as things are not going wellIt's a stressful time for me at the mo which wasnt helped by the realisation this afternoon that I'd made a mistake at work and one of the sales guys is really angry with me. My manager said not to worry about but it, but being told off in front of the whole office was not fun.
So of course when I got home without thinking I raided the fridge and even before dinner I've scoffed two crumpets and a chocolate bar, argh!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn why do I do this to myself?!They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson
