do they have the calorie values on the individual bars? If so then 20kcal is approx 1 syn.
  • Ohh my word! I just made myself some scotch eggs that are free on EE and they were gorgeous!

Have had a good day so far

B - fried polenta slices & spaghetti hoops

L- jacket potato & cheese (42g cathedrel city light HEA), sweet potato & onion soup

D - salmon, carrots, fine beans, potatoes

snacks - tesco cheese curls (3.5 syns) scotch eggs (free)

still have a HEb & about 11 syns left. Going to have 6 wholewheat crackerbreads (heb), with some sort of topping.

oooh which recipe did you use pls jenni? Would love to make some! :D
  • I made two, from 2 morrisons eat smart sausages, a boiled egg & some cooked couscous. Cut the egg into quarters. Skin the sausages, and mash the meat around a piece of egg (I used 1 sausage per piece of egg, you could probably make this go much further). Then squidge cooked couscous around teh sausagemeat, to coat. Then spray with frylight, and bake in the oven for about half an hour (until it looks crispy & golden). They really were tasty, and crunchy! I have a pic here on my blog .. http://jensslimmingworldjourney.blogspot.com/

Looks fab Jenni, thanks - loving your blog! What does fried polenta taste like? Never tried any polenta before!

I never realised until I saw your pictures how much we actually eat on SW!!! Fan-bloody-tastic methinks!

Oh and I would just like to say this is the first time in my life that a tube of Pringles has lasted more than 12 hours in my posession. I bought them yesterday - didn't fancy them so they're in hiding now - and even though I know where they are - I don't want any!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    C xx
  • Go you! That is fab - I'd have probably eaten them!

Fried polenta actually tastes good, well I like it. Its a bit like potato bread, if you have ever tried that? I cut into slices & fry in frylight, 1 pack lasts me ages and is only about 75p. I am really hoping the ready-made stuff is free! I never did check :(

Evening all, well done catt on your loss x
I didnt end up eating the sausages yesterday, cooked it and just couldnt eat.
I need to sort it out though cos I have only eaten my dinner today, just been so busy all day didnt even think about eating, so I'm going to make a conscious effort tommorrow to make sure I eat 3 meals!
I know that skipping meals is not going to help me!!!!!!

I made spag bol with turkey mince, I wont be doing that again!
I used a dolmio light sauce because it was in the cupboard, I made it up, halved it then split the half between me and Aston and put the other half in the freezer for lasange, so do I count it as 2 syns a portion? (everything was free except the sauce which was 8 syns)
