Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! My weigh in was cancelled last week, so I have no idea how i'm doing.. was very very naughty yesterday just ate and drank whatever...and actually felt quite poorly at the end of the day
today of course.. i want to be naughty again.. so i am trying to remotivate myself with the promise of new clothes (Christmas vouchers) once i have lost a stone.. (which in theory i may have already done..) Hope everyone has more will power than me! A red day today i think

hello everyone
i used to regularly read/contribute to this thread when it first started but went a bit awol..however pleased to say the SW principles have remained with me and I think i have only put on half stone since this time last year. Still wearing the same clothes I also wore this time last year..when they get tight...i just get back on plan for a week.
Usually have marion's breakfast rice for breakfast (is marion still around on this thread?). Tend to do EE most days, although it was green days that helped me to lose 2 stone.
Would like to lose the estimated half stone gain..in the new year.

Well I've lost half a stone in 4 weeks on SW. However, have been VERY naughty yesterday and today so bound to have put some on. But I have mitigated my losses by losing a bit before hand if you see what I mean?Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0

Hope you all had a good Christmas, Im glad its all over though. Just Hogmanay to get through and steak pie dinner on new years day and thats me back on track.
I didnt even try and follow the plan on Christmas day and had a few drinks and nibbles on Christmas Eve, but ive been good yesterday. I only got 1 chocolate thing for xmas, a Chocolate orange, does anyone know how many syns per segment please?
I also made sure I bought the kids sweeties than im not too keen on, Smarties, I hate smarties yuk! That way I wont be stealing theirs.
Welcome back fluffynit, great to see your doing so well.
And well done to the great losses on the run up to xmas.
Ive just stayed the same for a couple of weeks. That was my hope over this period, theres no way I could resist all the goodies and lose.
If I remember last year this thread went mental in the first week of January, we couldnt keep up with all the new posts. Hopefully there will be loads more joining us next week.
Mind you we had the new Extra Easy plan to figure out as well.
Sorry im waffling a bit, ive not really been on the pc over the xmas period.:o:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
:hello Hi all, just thought I'd stick my head in to say hi - still out and about at relatives (haven't been home since 23rd) so haven't had any control over food and I haven't even given it a thought to be honest
Got WI tomorrow about 12ish and not looking forward to it - a max of 3lbs I'm praying for, but still wondering how I can get my weight loss moving againStill considering meal replacement type things
Off to Edinburgh on Tuesday though the weather's not looking forgiving (300 mile journey) and tbh won't be on plan an awful lot there either
Ah well. New year, new me! :rolleyes:0 -
Hi everyone - any body else's trousers feel a bit tight?
Have scoffed and scoffed the last couple of days - very yummy - but not so great for the figure. BUT I know I am rejoining SW on Tuesday am, so better-than-normal service will be resumed then. Went to the gymn today - weighed myself - and its official - am a stone heavier than I was in July:o. Not happy about that - and need a bit more help to get rid of it.
Have a jacket potato cooking as we speak - and have made plans for getting rid of the edible pressies (mmm Danish butter cookies mmmm) which DON'T involve a late night scoffing session by yours truly;)Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Hi all
Hope everybody had a lovely Christmas and whatever way you decided to deal with it you enjoyed it! - no regrets (I was going to write that in French but I can't).
I have decided not to weigh myself again until Friday 8 Jan as I've got a bit of repair work to do.
I am trying to be good today and tomorrow as we go away on Weds for New Year and the eating will start up again for a couple of days.
On the other hand after Christmas I really don't think I will eat that much again as I'm reaching my limit! I'm not that used to rich food any more and will be quite happy to go back to my pretty plain way of eating!
I am really looking forward to getting going again after New Year and getting back to losing!
2010 will be the year that I crack this and I can't wait!
Happy New Year

Well, looks like we got through Christmas with not too much damage, folks well done all. Just the New Year bit now, so now need to hold it together and then really crack on in 2010.
It was Christmas cake that got me this year, managed to resist the mince pies, but that cake with a cuppa - oooh!
Hope everyone had a good time!0
