I know - I keep thinking of the girl who died on it a few months ago (or was that lighter life?) but I'm desperate before my wedding!0

Gosh, yes, I'd forgotten about her - I think I got off quite lightly really (no pun intended).
I completely understand your desperation though, that's why I did it and I still think it was a daft thing to have done.
Don't forget though that you're dieting because you want to, I'm sure your OH would marry you today in your dressing gown if you had to rather than see you put yourself through torture to be 'perfect' on your wedding day.0 -
Sadly, I'm not doing it for me (well I am aswell) - I am doing it for him. Long story.0

Lol, don't worry
It's not as bad as all that, he just wants to see me healthy and happy (as do I!)

Hello! I had my first weigh in tonight, i had to run in and run out (as my little one has been poorly and i had to leave him with a friend who could only have him for 30mins!). I lost 9lb this week! I couldn't believe it! Aiming for 3lb next week (as although i'd like a stone before Christmas i don't want to get upset if i don't hit it!). Having fun trying out lots of receipesAugust: £149/£150

But then its never a whole walnut so maximum 1/2 syn0 -
just got to work and there is a homemade chocolate cake and lots of butterfly buns, they look sooo good but i don't feel the need for any. that might be coz i've just had breakfast but i'm determined to be extra good this week as off for a mexican sat night and will be having a few drinks!0

Catt, I mean this in a kind way but if he really wants to see you healthy etc then why is it when he's there you find it so much harder? Surely he should be helping making it easier for you when he's there as he's there to encourage you and help you feel motivated to do it? I hope that didn't come across as rude or anything it really isn't meant like that, I just think if you're doing it partly for him then he should try and make it as easy as possible for you. Does he know everything about the diet? Maybe telling him all about it might spur him on to help you a bit, and therefore will help your weightloss?? It might help make you feel more positive about everything too. You can tell me to butt out and mind my own business but I've been worrying about you all night last night as I know how bad we can feel when it's not working.Joined Slimming World 19th May 2009
