Oh no please please don't get too upset, there must be something I promise. How about you put up here what you've eaten and exercise etc for the week and we can all have a look at it and try to help? if you don't want everyone to see I can pm you my email address and you can email me it over. I don't know about anyone else but sometimes (ok alot of the time) I need someone else to tell me what's going on etc!! Maybe we can even come up with a plan for the week ahead to try and help, we all know planning is the key!!

Thanks - I do put up my diaries from time to time so am happy to do that. Will start tomorrow-am planning a green week for a change.

Catt - gorgeous girl - I wish I could come over (to wherever you are!) and give you a massive hug. :A
I know you have a goal in mind and feel like you *can't* relax because your wedding is coming - but how about just having these next two weeks as a complete holiday - eat when and what you feel like eating - when you are hungry, and start afresh in January? I know you are probably thinking 'I can't I can't!' - but you know what - NOTHING is worth feeling this bad over.(Definately not starving yourself on the cambridge diet!)
Feel free to say 'thanks, but you are talking rubbish!' if you like;)Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Thanks rupe, you're not talking rubbish - it's exactly the same advice I would give to anyone else, but I can't bear the thought that I would gain (even a tiny bit) and undo the hard work I've put in for over a month. I know I wouldn't put it all on but it's taken me this long to lose a stone, and would be gutted if I had to climb that hill again.
Will try more fruit & salads this week - even though it's going to be bloody cold!

Well I am sitting here shivering, just realising I had turned the heating off!! Grrr!!! Up your speed foods too Catt, and make sure you're eating enough, using your syns (the usual stuff I know) etc etc...
Soups are good in this weather and aren't onions and garlic speeds? perfect basis for most soups. Maybe try using your syns on something different than you normally do, I remember that you usually save all your up for when your OH is home? Maybe try having a few everyday (just a packet of buttons = 4syns) and keep the rest for when he's home. Just balance may be the key here? I know it means you'll have to be better when he's there but just make sure you have a bowl of grapes/berries anything free, sweet and snackable handy!!Joined Slimming World 19th May 2009

Thanks catsy - I used to save them up (still used 5 a day), but now I just try not to drink so much when he's home
Last week I used 15 syns every day, but still doesn't seem to have helped!
I now have melon, grapes, banana's & clementines in my fruit bowl. The hard bit is eating them - I never feel like them when it's cold out!
Thanks for everyone's support - off to SW in a min to see the damage this week0 -
oh and complain about your consultant - -I did!!! I ended up moving groups anyway but she's left now cos she was sooooo rubbish!! I'm sure there's an email address somewhere on the computer, I did it to another consultant who passed it on to her superior. the consultant on here may be able to help you with that one. I can't imagine they'd be very pleased to hear about her if that's what she's like!! I mean they'd want to know.Joined Slimming World 19th May 2009

Good Luck!!!! oh and think positively!! Think like you've lost a pound.... you never know, I sure feel like thinking positively is half the battle as I'm so used to thinking badly about my weight etc and always expecting the worst meant I usually did!! I'm sure other people would say it's better to expect the worst though as then you're pleasantly surprised. I look forward to hearing how you got on!!Joined Slimming World 19th May 2009

Skint, I am DYING to know how you get on. I really feel for you. I have my fingers crossed for you BIG TIME.
Every time I'm in a rut of STS etc I always say to myself, just give it one more month......then you can give up if you like.
By the next day I'm usually full of the SW joys again or at the very least, determined to stick at it. So that seems to work for me.
Because SW is the best. I just KNOW you won't be a fat bride, like you say. I really feel that the CD would stop you living a normal life and I just NOw you are going to be a SW success again.
The hardest thing is not comparing yourself to others....I still haven't mastered it perfectly but I can see it's important..... Other members come to class and say they don't even follow the plan/have lost five pounds to my piddly half a pound/ think my target's too high/too low / lose faster / have more to lose/have less to lose/clothes falling off them now they've lost three pounds........I'm always happy for those who lose more than one pound but I do feel hard done by too sometimes. I've taken since the 19th of August to lose one stone AND nobody has even noticed I've lost weight yet!! Ok, I don't have lots and lots to lose which would explain the slow loss maybe but why don't I really even look slimmer yet in that case? Ay ay ay, I don't know. But I'm not giving up yet. As I say over on minimins, I'm in it for the long haul and let's see what it brings.
Anyway, you have six months left. I think you're starting to panic but perhaps (I'm really hoping for you) tonight you will get rewarded for your hard work over the last few weeks and you will never look back. Six months is a long time! (Imagine six months on the Cambridge Diet, .....no thanks!!)
anyway, can't wait to hear how you get on and I personally would be DEVASTATED if you defected to the CD. I would really miss you on here and on minimins.
Good luck!
P.S. You do a fair bit of exercise.....have you toned up/clothes feel looser.......?0
