    well I have had possibly the worst few days ever!! really really really bad..... so bad I can't even list everything!! Right weigh in is wednesday, please please please can I have help/suggestions on how to make sure I haven't gained? i will do ANYTHING over the next few days!! I did eveything bad that usually if I only do one of them I can get away with it, but no..... I drank, ate WHITE BREAD, junk food, chocolate....

    I really want to get it sorted today, even if I just maintain on weds - feel I would be VERY lucky - so I need to do damage control....

    catsy, right! Drink plenty of water/squash/liquids to flush it all through. Go out and stock up on some superspeed foods too - grapefruit for brekkie (if you eat it), melon - chopped up to snack on (plus strawberries, blackberries, raspberries etc!)
    Baked beans are a superspeed food too! :D
    If you can up your exercise any, then this will help - don't go mad but just an extra walk to the local shop or round the block every night should help things shift too.
    Fingers crossed but we all do it from time to time, so pls don't worry too much!

    thanks catt!! Great advice, just needed a kick up the backside!! I think I just needed a few crazy days to get me motivated again really so I am going to look at it as a good thing!! I just know that if I gain I'll just end up feeling rubbish and doing the same hting all over again!! Previously when I have been naughty it's just been one meal, or had a few too many syns (drink usually!!) but I had 3 days of eating and drinking far too much rubbish!!

    I have a couscous and bean salad for lunch so that will be good. And thanks for the fluid tip, I never drink enough so will make that my main mission over the next 3 days!! Not sure about the exercise as usually when I do more it doesn't help (muscle's heavier than fat and all that!!) but I haven't done any since tues last week and I usually at least do 20 mins on wii fit!!

    God I really wanted a measly 4lb by xmas to get my 3st and there's no chance I'll get it now!! still, I find I always do better if I think positively rather than just feel rubbish about how bad I've been!! I'm a little annoyed as well because I now seem to be between sizes in clothes (jeans especially) and am planning to completely update my wardrobe in jan sales so to loose just those 4lbs could have made all the difference!!

    Do get on your Wii Fit - it takes hours and hours and hours of high cardio/weight based exercise to build muscle, not just the light exercise most of us do! There's still another week after this one until Xmas, so if you stick with it you may get at least half your target before then which won't be bad - being 2lbs off is nothing! I was aiming for 28lbs for Christmas but as I've struggled to lose anything (and I've been 100% most of the time) I'm way off mine which should have been easy for me. By WI tomorrow I will not have been over my weekly syns (I used Mon & Tues syns on Sat/Sun) but I already know yet again I haven't lost anything :(

    yes you're right, 2lb for xmas would be good. I might make that my aim and then anything else is a bonus!!

    You need to think positively catt!!! Even when I've been naughty if I think positively, but don't expect too much then I'm always pleased!! Last week I was so gutted that I sts even though I was a little bit naughty, and spent all week thinking I prob would sts!!! A consultant we had temporarily for a few weeks some time back set me a mini challenge so that I could loose 2.5lbs in a week and it worked, it was to have 5 speed foods a day, and have different HE everyday. It was great advice and worked a treat!! Funny how I only think of it when I hear other people struggling, not when I need to tell it to myself!!!

    So please think positively, I feel it's the best aid to weight loss!!

  • i have not been very food optimising friendly for about two weeks, got wi tonight and hoping to maintain (gained last week)

    just come back to work after over a week off (hence why i've been eating too much!) and can eat a lot better at work as theres not the temptation BUT there is a tin of quality streets and a tin of biscuits in the kitchen at work! i have managed to not have any so far and we are half way through the day!! i dont want even one as i've had coco pops for brekkie and that was all the syns i wanted today (i didnt measure them but there was more than 28g!) lets hope my willpower stays strong!!

    i was very bad this weekend - i feel like i have put on so not holding our much hope for wi tonight.

    i have a bad week last week and was lucky to lose 0.5lb god knows what it will be like tonight. i feel the last two weeks eating is going to catch up with me.

    i will carry on though - onwards and upwards!!

    I've got my WI in an hour and I'm frantically trying to find my lightest clothes so that I can weigh less ;)

    OK, I would if I could be bothered. I guess I'll just have to take what comes instead and hope I've been good enough all week :rotfl:
