Depends how many classes you run and how many members you have!

    Hi all
Im thinking about becoming a slimming world consultant, but can anyone tell me what the earnings scale is like?
    Thanks

Earnings are not the be all and end all of being a Consultant. You have to have lost weight with SW and be at (or almost at) your target. You need a real passion for the SW way and a need to help people lose weight - without that it's not going to work for you.

It is a franchise operation and therefore you have to pay to start up. The costs are in the region of £1000 I believe for one group, although it could be more now.

Earnings depend on how many people come to the group every week.

You can find out all about the job by attending an open event which occur roughly every month somewhere in your area. Your group Consultant can give you all the details and will probably take you to the event if you wanted her to.

Upon looking at a previous post of yours, I don't really think you would fit the criteria.......quote" I'm a Beauty Therapist - work for myself and on around £48k Gross. Do stupid hours, but will wax anything for money!!!:rotfl:" unquote
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
  • Yes thats right, I am a therapist. I have lost about 3 stone with SW about 2 years ago and have managed to keep it off. I had alot of support from my group and think that its a satisfying job. I wasnt aware that you weren't allowed to have another job besides being a consltant, so is that why I wouldnt fit the 'criteria'?

Well my weekend wasn't great, but wasn't awful either.

Had spag bol made with a jar (I reckon my share was about 4syns), 2 glasses of wine and 3 vodka's so 23.5 on Saturday. I forgot to take my cereal and the only thing on offer was a croissant and a choc au pain and as I was starving I had one of each (23 syns ).

I just hope it'll spread it's naughtiness along my week so I will at least lose this week as I've tried so hard when I've been at home & in control.

Anyway, going to have a completely green week this week! OH's away until Saturday so nothing can stop me! :) I do wish class was at the latter half of the week instead of Tuesday so that my weekends don't corrupt my WI's so much as I'm SOOO good during the week.

Anyhoo, off to plan my meals & shopping list for tomorrow.

    Good week everyone :hello:

    C xx
  • Well I'd been having an angelic week until this afternoon when I had friends round and they brought three really big bags of crisps to share - guess who ate most of them!

I really didn't mean to and I'd already decided what to use my syns on (some mini mince pies from Tesco) so I feel really silly now.

It's my weigh in tomorrow so I hope I haven't undone the good of the week by being so daft. I'm going to try to not beat myself up about it though, what's done is done and it could have been worse.

Was bad yesterday & had a binge

Today is a new day eh!

I've got my 2 stone award so I really don't want to blow it.

Still, there is nothing left to binge on, lol!!!

    Hi all.

    Doing OKish...

I decided to have a red day yesterday but had not got enough red/free munchies in and was having a VERY munchy day so that was bad news - ate loads of raw carrots! I ended up having two slices of white bread and marg and a bit of jelly and ice cream - I've developed a real yearning for icecream recently - dangerous. And I couldn't be bothered to do my exercise DVD.

So a bit bad but now I am determined to have four good days before I weigh in on Friday morning. I think I will stick to green as well now - much easier for me.

I've ordered some new slimming world books (one-pot, sauces and the new red and green ones - mine are out of date), a new Davina DVD (Super something) and some new hand weights for my Xmas prezzies so hopefully this will spur me on in the new year!

    Have a good week everybody!

  • Go for it, Kaz! I know the thought of SW over Christmas seems tough but I really think that most of the overeating we do is totally avoidable and happens in those boring relaxing days between Christmas and New Year.... you could make a real impact and start 2010 feeling proud of yourself....just my two cents worth! Good luck, whenever you start. I love this "diet" ! x
