THE SLIMMING WORLD SITE IS DOWN ATM

I have a packet of ... "The laughing Cow extra light" low fat cheese -
    8 portions.

Can someone please tell me how many I can have for a A choice ,on green day.
    Kindness costs nothing :)
  • i think its 6 of the extra light ones

Don't have my 1.5stone award yet though :( 6lbs off!

Oh I'm sorry, I had been reading your post and then saw the "Woo-hoo, got my 1½ stone award" and connected the two.....eyesight starting to go obviously :o Still, I'm sure it won't be long before we're getting a similar post from you :D

Meanwhile, congrats Neonic on your award :) Can't really advise on whether or not you should stop slimming. Spot reducing isn't really feasible I don't think. Your body will slim wherever it wants to I'm afraid, and often the classic pear shape is what we were meant to be (which is why it's called 'classic' I suppose). The running will certainly help to firm/tone up your legs and bum so if you don't want to actually lose more weight, adding a HEB to the plan will help you maintain the weight you are now.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
  • Hope you feel better soon Mirry :)

I wouldn't keep hopping on the scales if I were you. Once a week is plenty often enough to get weighed as your weight can fluctuate daily (even hourly). It really is counter-productive getting weighed too often and bathroom scales are notoriously innaccurate anyway.

Laura is right, it is 6 of the extra light LC.

well it was going to happen sooner or later.. ive been to my cousins today and i had put in front of me a large portion of home made lasagne and salad, with garlic bread. so i had one "disc" of garlic bread (would easily have 5 in the old days!) i ate the salad first and then the lasagne which I hope to leave some but I didnt... then pudding... i didnt want to be the only one who wasnt having any as I didnt want to look like a party pooper. again, i think i had 1 6th of some waitrose choc cheesecake which again not dieting i would of had alot more.

I couldnt find the syns value for their choc cheesecake, so i have allowed 10, but obviously i went well over with the lasagne. im just gutted as i really didnt want any of it.. still its done now...

We had it for lunch so this evening I didnt fancy a meal as Ive been stuffed and had a bit of a stomach ache (think my body has been used to smaller, lighter meals) so I had an apple and yogurt

Im weighing in Monday and after another sneek peek on the scales yesterday (ooops!) it sais id lost 2 pounds so i was thrilled! i feel like ive ruined that now. i wanted to lose a stone for xmas and if those 2 pounds are still lost, im 2 pounds away!!

    hows everyone else doing?? xx

Please please don't stress about this. You have to remember that Food Optimising isn't a diet, it's a healthy eating plan which you can follow for the rest of your life and remain effortlessly slim (it's not just there for Christmas).

With this in mind, there will always be birthdays, parties, holidays etc which will get in the way, but they only last for hours (or sometimes days) and can't, won't make a difference to your overall healthy eating plan. The worst that will happen is that your goal/target may be delayed by a few days or weeks. You will still get there, if these special occasions are just that.....occasional!!

Food Optimising is the next best thing to a magic wand and will still be there for you after your 'blow-out'. It won't let you down, I promise :)

morning everyone , I woke up feeling really yuck today , premenstraul and
bloated, got on the scales and it says I am 2 lb heavier .

Today sainsburys are delivering lots of SW food :D ,,, I have got to loose something I feel awful in myself :o.

Don't forget that your weight fluctuates daily and it will also depend on things *ahem* your toilet habits!

I honestly wouldn't set any store by whatever you weigh at home during the week and just go by the scales at class.
