it sounds lovely , I think I will give that a try too :j

I did a shop online and ordered some
    Quorn BBQ sliced fillets.

    Each 70g (1/2 pack) serving contains Calories 65 3%, Sugars 2.8g 3%, Fat 0.7g 1%, Saturates 0.2g 1%, Salt 0.7g 12% of an adult's guideline daily amount

Does anyone know if these are free ?

    Hello everybody

briggers - that Keema sounds lovely and just the sort of thing I would cook - I must have that magazine somewhere.

Lost 1lb today so I'm on my way again. Mind you the scales at Boots may be on the blink as they also told me I was 5'8" and had a BMI of 25.8 - I WISH!! Anyway I wasn't going to spend another 50p to double check it.

BUT - this evening we decided to have a Chinese and I confess I have overindulged! It was probably time for a mini blowout though - I really enjoyed it and I'm not beating myself up.

Now I am determined to have a very good week and do lots of exercise!!
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
  • Bubbling away downstairs is a veg chilli that I'm making tonight before I go to a friends work Xmas party - she's invited a group of us to give her support as she's singing in a band there.

Anyway, I'm going to have a huge bowl of chilli with a jacket potato for dinner so that when I go out later I won't be hungry and I won't pick at the buffet all evening!

The chilli is smelling great too, it's got kidney beans, celery, red and orange pepper, mushroom, sweetcorn, tomato and lots of fresh chilli. Yum!

These are free on Original, Green and Extra Easy so enjoy!

Mirry - when I make a cottage pie, I always add a tin of baked beans and a splash of Worcester sauce - it makes it much more tasty.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

    :hello:

Hi all, feeling good today! OH came home last night and I stuck to my 2 glasses of wine and only went over my syns by 1 point cause I forgot I had 2 advent chocs to eat! (But I'm going to be naughty and count it as a 100% day cause it's not like me to go over by so little! :o )

OH's away playing a gig and I've JUSt got back from the hairdresser (blonde again - whoop! Found THE most amazing hairdresser - I think I'm in love with him!) so waiting for dinner to cook. Only had a small cooked brekkie this morning so I'm STARVING!!! Having some HEb wedges with my gammon, egg & carrots!
No syns yet but I have a tiny bag of sweets (2.5) and my calendar choc to eat (1) and might have to finish up the fruit salad with some double cream & several mini meringues (8) feels soo naughty! :D

Could get used to this being good ;)

Still nervous about weekend at BIL's tomorrow and Sunday but I'll just do the best I can. Have already decided that I won't drink tomorrow night (if I do it'll be tiny vodka shot with my huge det coke - but being VERY ill the other week from drinking has put me off being drunk for life!! :o )

Anyway I'm waffling! Hope everyone is well! :D

Woohoo, I got my stone and a half award. I am sooooo pleased.

I'm trying to decide what to do next now tho. Being a pear shape the weight has dropped off the top half of my body and I don't want to lose any more from the top. All I really need is to lose a little bit more from my legs and bum area. I'm not sure what to do tho as I will be starting my official training for the Leeds 10k and the Cardiff half marathon after Christmas so I'm thinking (hoping) the training will tone my legs up and slim them down a bit. I'm a bit worried that if I carry on the weight loss plan as well as the training that the weight will continue to come off the top of my body aswell as my legs. Should I just follow the maintanence plan or will that not work? I can just about get into a size 12 jeans and all I want now is for me to comfortably fit into the majority of size 12 jeans with ease, so I know I'm not far off.

I don't know what to do. I've never been at this stage before.

    Does anyone have any advice?
  • Catt, Excellent news on your 1½ stone award - well done!!

You do know that double cream is 2½ syns per level tablespoon? Are the mini meringues smaller than a nest (don't think I've seen these)? This pud sounds as though it could develop into a syn-fest, lol.

Yes - the cream is 5 syns and the mini meringues are 1 syn each so I'm gonna have 3 :D

Don't have my 1.5stone award yet though :( 6lbs off!
