    Hi all,

I had a fab birthday last weekend, OH and went to Sheffield. We met with friends and needless to say the drinks flowed all night! I lost count after 10 pints and vaguely remember knocking back 4 within 30 minutes! I paid for it the next day with an awful hangover and no appetite. serves me right :)

Anyway, I'm back on track and determined now to get the 6lbs off that I've gained lately. I've had a green day today with lots of fruit, yoghurt, veg and pasta.

    Hi Everyone I`m new here:o

Just popping in to introduce myself.

Off to join my local club tomorrow morning. Really need to bite the bullet and get myself along and sign up. Have been putting it off until after Christmas but the sooner the better;)

I have no idea how much I weigh at the moment but will probably not be in the least bit shocked to hear how much I have to lose:o

Have been looking through this thread and it`s given me the push to do it now! Thanks

  • Hello,

I just wanted to pop in to the thread after lurking for a long time. I've been doing SW for nearly a year now and I'm at 4 stone 12 1/2 gone but unfortunately I've still got another 6  to go!

I'm having a bit of a rough patch with it coming up to Christmas and having been on the plan so long with so far to go but at class this week I got some good tips to get me motivated again and I thought chatting to you guys on here might help me as well.

This time next year I want to be starting to think about my target - it's a long way ahead but I'm not giving up!

    Hi JustBe welcome!

Skint Catt, I'm veggie, so I'm always on green, I like to do a risotto with pearl barley (I just feel it's a bit healthier than rice, and I tend to have rice with other dishes so a bit of variety) I usually roast some sweet potato to go in it (with fry light a tsp of honey and black pepper) I also have celery, onion and sliced mushrooms in (sometimes sweetcorn) put veg stock in too. I make a lot and put the rest in the fridge so it does me for a couple of extra nights, it's just like having a ready meal, pop it in the microwave when i get in, I'm not keen on the savory rice and stuff like that coz I think it's all a bit artificial, I also grate parmesan in, and count it as my cheese, a little of that goes a long way in terms of flavour.
