*sigh* only lost 0.5lbs tonight - that's a grand total of 0.5lbs in 3 weeks :( It seems the more I want it the slower it comes off. I'm still going to be fat when I get to my wedding day :(

Well I am finally feeling back to normal, I guess we always have our down days!! I have been exercising, but not too much as I don't want to overstretch my body that is used to very minimal movement usually!! Weigh in tomorrow so I really am hoping for a loss even though I had a bad few days as the rest of the time I have been good. However a couple of people at my group have found that since doing more exercise the weight is harder to come off as muscle is building. I'm thinking about starting to do measurements weekly to see if I loose inches when I may not loose much in the way of actual weight.

Having a lovely supper tonight..... breakfast!! Lol, I LOVE extra easy and am thoroughly looking forward to my potatoes, beans, sausages & eggs!!! (don't like bacon).

I am starting to have trouble with lunches as I was making soups but my bf has gotten fed up with coming home and having so much stuff used (we don't have a dishwasher). Any ideas? I do have jacket pots sometimes as we have a micro and an oven but sometimes it's hard to have hot food. I also take the mugshots and have them as a snack sometimes.

I am also now very poor until xmas so any moneysaving recipes would be a great help, esp using staple freezer and cupboard foods as mine are full!!!

Catsy, imo you can't beat soups and I've found there's no significant difference in the taste when you make them without all the faffing about. I chuck everything in the one big pan, boil it up, simmer for hoever long it needs and zap it in the pan with my Bamix (a wand type mixer). Dead easy, quick and only a pan and a knife to wash up :D (oh and a cup as prefer my soup in a cup rather than a bowl).

ETA: I love one-pot meals and if you have a slow cooker, there's not much you can't make in them.....curries, chilli, stew, even milk puddings!
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

catsy - do you prefer green?
    Mugshots
Savoury rice (can be done in a flask if not able to cook)
Penne, baked beans & cheese (if able to cook)
    leftovers (dinner the night before)
    jackets - sooo many fillings
omlette (if you are able to cook)
noodles - with anything thrown in!

Catt, don't feel down. I know ½lb doesn't seem much, but it adds up each week and makes a lot over a year (2 stone).

After Christmas, you may be able to get into gear and look to managing your weekends a bit better. I'm not having a go, but you always say it's hard when OH is home, so perhaps those are the times to target.

Thanks consultant. The trouble is when OH is home it usually means we're at FIL's or away somewhere else. I do take food parcels where I can, but other than that I gain whether I eat whatevers put in front of me or don't eat it (then I haven't eaten enough..) so can't win :(
This weekend we're at my BIL's so other than trying to avoid most of the alcohol at his party on Saturday night I have no idea what will be served.
