OH TFI Friday, feel like carp, hardly slept last night as the wind was howling here, so absolutely cream crackered today.

Been to work this morning and my class were little devils:mad:, glad i was only in a half day.

Nothing exciting in the post today, no wins on bingo, scratchies done 10p and 25p.

Supposed to be making beef casserole for tea, if i ever get my ar*e into gear, also need to chop sticks for fire, empty dishwasher, ironing, go to Tesco for a birthday present as ds has a party to go to this weekend, also need to buy batteries so i can take some pictures of things to sell on ebay.

Spends so far today £3 for dd and ds to take to school for children in need.
  • Hiya Miemie

Just wondering where you go for the scratchies? Are they free or do you have to deposit first?

Youve not done too bad on the spends today, well done x

Hi Dreamy The chocky rocky road is more chucked together than a recipe, basically melt a large bar of choc with about 2oz butter, then stir in broken biscuits, chopped up marshmallows and raisans, mix together and put into paper cases to set, i sometimes also chuck in the dregs of cereal, you know the bits that are left in the bottom of the packet, and sometimes chopped up chocolates that nobody has eaten, usual chocalate caramels in this household.
Regarding the scratchcards i do littlewoods and virgin as they are owned by different companies can't have 2 accounts with same company think its st miniver or they will close your account, anyway yes you need to deposit, once you have done this you will get a free scratch card everyday that you are guaranteed to win on, amount varies its usually 10/25p but i have been known to win £5, once you get to £5 with virgin £10 with LW you can withdraw your winnings but you need to leave money in your account to keep getting the cards, for example if you withdrew £10 from LW you would need £10.10p in your account, hope that made sense i'm not brilliant at explaining things.

Been to Tesco and spent £14 on birthday pressie, card, sweets and batteries, could have been worse.
  • Sounds yummy AND easy will have to have a go at making those although wont be this month as im trying not to spend money, will probably happen after xmas when theres lots of chocci knocking about lol.

I joined littlewoods last night, deposited won and withdrew although I did loose my bonus but not really bothered about that, Have left 3p in the account hope thats enough to get the free scratchies.

Hope you used your clubcard at Tescos....every little helps ya know lol x

Well done dreamy signing up to littlewoods, on sundays you get 2 goes on the free scratchcard at littlewoods.Yes used my clubcard at Tesco's yesterday.

Have done my free scratchie 10p and 25p again, taken me over £5 with virgin so have withdrawn that, No win on bingo today, have decided my luck has run out.

Yummy scrummy thorntons choccies arrived this morning, so most of chrissy presents got now, choccies have been hidden and as they arrived when hubby was dropping ds off at party he knows nowt about my free I love choccy hamper:D:D:D:D and its now safely hidden, i will share any thing with anyone, except for chocolate.

Picked ds up from party and took him shoe shopping my purse is now £30 lighter, thankyou clarks.

We are eating Beef casserole for tea as i made it last night, but then nobody was hungry when i was about to dish it out and when they all decided to eat children in need was on and nobody wanted to move from in front of the tv including me, so we were lazy and had ham sandwiches, crisps and cake, oh well at least its done for tonight.

Have also been to a christmas fair today it amazing how much tat you can purchase for £15 or should i say how much a small child can purchase:eek:.

Well the weather here is awful, i'm being a hermit and not going anywhere, just going to snuggle in front of the fire:D.

Well so far today has been a NSD, i have won 3 x 10p on scratchies, have a few surveys in the in box that need doing, but my greatest achievement so far today is i've got my act together and listed 10 items on eBay:D and i've already sold a Buy it now item for £6 and that was within 10 mins of me listing it:j, oh if it was always that easy i would have nothing left, also have a bid on another item an 2 watchers, go miemie.

Decided i need to lose some weight this is mainly because when i was sorting eBay things i found my beautiful Karen Millen tunic dress its black and white with a wide band of sequins all around the hem so very in at the moment, its totally gorgeous the only down size is its a size 12, i'm a 14 and it still has the label on it because i can't get into it. i know it was a moment of weakness and i promised myself i would slim into it and yadda yadda yadda:o, i just can't sell it, i love it, i must wear it even if i only get into it once, I MUST STOP EATING CARP I MUST DO EXCERCISE.

Have made jellies for lunch boxes tommorrow and have a yummy pasta bake cooking for tea tonight.

Miemie, if you put your mind to it, you will easily fit into that dress before Christmas. Don't think of it as "exercise" can you walk somewhere fast instead of driving? Or run up and down stairs a few times?!
If you can just cut down a bit and move a bit more - you'll be there :)

Good effort on Ebay too :T It's such a great feeling to get some bids and be paid to get rid of clutter :T:T:T
