Evening all! A bit late tonight. A NSD today:j BUT £59 spent yesterday stocking up the empty shelves. I am away this weekend, but will really try to sort out some sort of proper meal plan when I get back. I think because I don't normally do this -this may be where I'm going wrong. Also the apples still need picking from the tree for all those lovely pies and crumbles, I'm going to freeze eventually.Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

I wouldn't - or if you feel you must then don't be too worried if you creep over (maybe even add a bit extra to it). be in no doubt, you will be eating crisps and jelly (or banana mash!!) for a week afterwards so it should count a little !!
That what i thought lol - it's a one off!

Hi Everybody
First post! though I have been learning a lot from this wonderful site for years.
I have been trying to budget for the last two months but have not been doing very well - I am following the Slimming World plan and also cooking 2 or 3 different meals every day for OH and 3 kids - need to get organised!
So I thought I'd start off at £450 please for November and see how it goes - Good luck to everybody!August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
Hi everyone,
Just on to update my sig. Had a MrT delivery last night as I have a busy weekend ahead and will be working Monday and Tuesday. This delivery should take us through to the 10th November, barring a little f&v.
I will pay for a months' school dinners for the three children on Monday (£107) which will leave us about £68 for the remainder of Nov (my month runs until 21st), which should be doable.
Welcome franby64 . I too am following S/World. Finding green days the cheapest - lots of pasta!!!
Good luck to all posters, new and existing!!

A small but unnecessary spend of £5 yesterday for fish pie and veg for dinner as I forgot to sort anything out in the morning and was busy all day (DD2's 18th birthday:D). So, more careful planning needed today

First spend of the month - £5.90. On lots of veg from the farm shop.
Tesco's delivery is coming later, so I'll update again after I know total, its going to be a big one though, as the cupboards are bare!
