Hi all, good luck to everyone and welcome to all new members!
Well blown the October budget (well OH) by £22.32 so my total declared is now £172.32 . I've had swine flu so hadn't eaten since Friday last week and had some food today which literally had me curled up pain.So OH and kids had to do the shopping and spent loads of money on meat as apparently he fancied . By next week i should be should be well enough to cope with kitchen duty again and to keep a closer eye on spending.
So i would like to declare £150 again for November which for me starts from Sunday. Thanks again.

Please can you put me down for 300 pounds for Nov 1st - 30th . have freezer and cupboards to use up - just need to get milk, bread and veg on a weekly basis.
My first proper month, so will keep receipts too. Thanks. xMe, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0 -
Thanks Rosieben & Helen for getting this month underway!
£14.14 spent so far & 1 NSD. Would really like to do a large shop this weekend somewhere else. All I have locally is a fairly small Co-op and all other supermarkets are between 6 - 15 miles away, so need to make it worth the petrol cost. So, the plan for tonight is to do a shopping list in line with my meal plans.
Good luck for November everyone!

Have to say, my vice is Coke, so I'm aiming to cut that back dramatically - used the demotivator tool yesterday and boy-o-boy did it do the job!:eek::eek:

I am ready for a new month, and hoping that the spare bit in the budget won't get used this month. Should be a small week this week though - I still have lots in from previous weeks and need to clean out freezer. And I have the Halloween treats in already too - although I may have to buy some ordinary apples (keeping the nice ones for ourselves) when I shop on Sat, which I will count as Nov's budget.
Planning on:
Tonight: Mushrooms and a cream sauce with tagliatelle
Tomorrow: Chorizo potato bake
Sat: Mushroom or pumpkin risotto
Sun: Roast dinner (have to buy joint)
Mon: Leftovers
Tues: Rogan Josh (from freezer)
Wed: Chicken fajitas (need creme fraiche, tomatoes, fajita mix only)
Thurs: Prawns, curry sauce and rice
Fri: May give in to takeaway gods......
Sambos and courgette soup, and maybe pumpkin soup, for lunches.
So shop this week, apart from shaving gel and shampoo, and bits in brackets above, needs milk, bread, yoghurts for DD, and another pumpkin if going cheap (havent bought any yet, but the only one from garden to survive is quite small)..hoping for a spend of about €50 this week.GC 2010 €6,000/ €5,897
