Afternoon just a quick spends update. Spent £15 in tesco yesterday and got quite a bit but i was unable to get a few bits - i went to the small one instead of extra so i'll need to pop out again later today or tomoro to the larger one to get my forgotten few bits.
I knew i should of gone to the big tesco instead, my smaller one is in a posh area and doesnt stock all the usual value products i buy, how annoying! I'm still on track for the month tho:D£387.39/£196.46

Spent £17.33 today...getting worse..
Some of this was stuff for packed lunches for DS and DD1 as they are going on school trips tomorrow. Got Capri Suns which I don't usually buy but were BOGOF at the Coop so I've got loads now! Going to have to ration them or I'll have 3 hyper kids charging around this evening!
Also bought a packet of Monster Munch for DS which was 45p but only 22grams...surely they used to be be bigger. Oooh it does annoy me when they shrink packets but not prices!
Just noticed it's only the 11th but I'm about halfway through my budget:eek:August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
Just looked at Aldi's website and they have finally updated it with this week's Super 6:- 6 Red Apples 59p, Cucumber 29p, Cabbage 29p, 1kg Carrots 29p, 500g Plums 49p and 2.5kg Maris Pipers 59p - guess where I'm going tomorrow morning.:p
A NSD today but as you can see from my comment above I will be spending tomorrow, shall go to Aldi's and then need to go to Asda but will stick to my lists.;)
It's turning really wintery here so Dinner tonight is Delia's steamed Beef Suet Pud, carrots, green beans and mash. Pud is going to be an Eve's Pud but I'm using up some Blackberries and raspberries that I had stashed in the freezer that we picked from the Garden in September - seems like such a long time ago now.
Also need to get in the kitchen this afternoon and make some more of Twink's hobnobs as we are down to our last few:eek: and always like to have plenty of these in the Freezer as they are an excellent standyby when you fancy a nibble.;)
Hope you all have a good afternoon.:D"WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!"GC for OH, myself, DD18 & DD16 includes Toiletries, cleaning stuff & Food.

The apples are Braeburns (sp?) and lovelyI had one after my lunch and it was nice to have a crunchy apple all the ones I seem to have had recently have been soft
Not really sure what they're thinking of with cucumber in this weather  but it is nice to have some on a sandwich.

Hi Everyone. Just popping to update signature by £126.06 which I have spent this month so far. Hopefully won't be spending much more. Haven't brought anything extra towards xmas as yet. So guess it will be a bumper spend next month.:rolleyes:2025 Decluttering 10472⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hello Everyone,
I have gone over my Nov GC. Yesterday I went to MrT to buy a few bits for us and also some nice goodies to send my neice who has just started uni. I then went to MrS today to buy mulled wine and nibbles as I have a party plan night tomorrow and need to entice my friends to buy stuff lol!
My month ends on 20th and I have paid for school meals for the 3 children up to end of November, so effectively thats £26.75 for the final week of Nov that should really be in Decembers budget IYSWIM?
Anyway, I'm still over, so should stop trying to justify it to myself :rotfl:.
MrT had ice cream cones, Cadbury butt0ns/Lyles G0lden syrup packs of 6, buy 2 for £3 (usually £2 each), if anyone's interested.

Hi guys, just popping on to add a spend of £5.27 today between butcher's and C0-0p. Our local butcher had smoked ham hocks and boiling beef, so I got one of each then had to go get more broth mix and a kilo bag of porridge oats to keep us going in cold weather breakfasts. I also came home with a huge bag of chard and celery, that I got at our local LETS meeting this morning. Does anyone know if I can freeze chard and if so do I need to prepare it in any special way first?I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.
