Morning All,
No need to cook today as we are out for dinner tonight -which will be nice. Having batch cooked quite a bit this week we should be ok for a while. However, I'm beginning to run low on basics, eggs, milk etc. and a weekend shop looks likely -but today could be another NSD so that's 5!!!! in a row.:j
Have a good day everyone!Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

Desperately needed to shop yesterday and spent £44.14 of my remaining 149.96 budget so have 105.82 to see us through till the 28th Nov. Hopeful I will achieve this as have plenty of meals planned but I find its the treats and bits and bobs that have always eaten my money and am trying to reduce the food spend without the family necessarily knowing. To do this I am cooking cheaper meals and carefully reducing portion sizes so that there is no bin wastage and buying less treats (but still some in budget so they don't cotton on).
Great exercise in retraining the brain all this though- can't believe how I randomly used to throw foodstuffs in trolley with no clue as to when I would use it, end up freezing it and then doing same again the very next week- no more I say!!
Good Luck all x0 -
Inadvertent no spend day today as I have left my purse in the car, and my husband has driven it to work for an outing 30 miles away!!!!!
Also, have just sold a book on Green Metropolis, so theoretically, I am up on the day so far.

Cos, like, we're country folk and don't need that kind of shop eh! I get really fed up with the general lack of shop choice down here. I love where I live, don't get me wrong, but choices are very restricted for some things. We don't even have a book store in our town. (I don't count WHSmiths as they are not proper book shop types). Grumble, grumble.
Must go off and make tonights dinner - cheesy potato slices with veggies!:jMoney saving eco friendly Fertility reflexology specialist :j0 -

I've just updated my siggy with recent spends, not including booze as I'm saving that little amount for DH to get a hold of and wrangle his way out of at the end of the month!!!!!!!!!!! Don't think he realises how much it costs, I don't mind him having a drink or me for that matter but if somethings gotta give then its booze. I'm on a mission - can you tell lol
