Morning all, nice day here so maybe a few more apples will get picked, prepared and frozen. Hoping for yet another NSD that would make 4 in a row, practically unheard of. The bread is baking away in the bread maker and smells yummy and I've got a gammon joint soaking in water for dinner later -in fact it might make two or 3 meals:j ...and the freezer is still working at the moment:j so things not looking too bad all round. Plus my slipped disc really seems to be on the mend, so I can get around quite well with care now -hopefully this won't spur me on to have a whopping spending spree:D.
Good luck with the move rosieben you must be getting very excited!
Have a good day everyone!Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

First shop of the month this morning & I'm pleased at the total of £82.70. If I keep it up throughout the month it'll be ok. We're having more veggie meals this month to keep the cost down & it's going well. Lentil dhal (sp?), rice & hm naan tonight which smells lovely
so hoping it tastes as good.
Hope everyone else is getting on okay I haven't read the thread since Saturday so I'll go and catch up now.
Oh I noticed that Aldi are doing their offers weekly now instead of monthly. I'm probably the only one who doesn't know
but thought I'd mention it anyway! 0 -
I managed to get a lift to Mr T yesterday and spent a huge £90.50 That is almost half my budget for the month. I got loads of both fresh and frozen vegetables. I am going to make some huge broths and soups to freeze for lunches and I have bought dried beans to cook and freeze too. They work out much cheaper than buying tinned beans.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Well I've just done the weekly shop (Sainsburys for their half price meat and cheese and Tesco for everything else) and it has come in at £94 so under my weekly budget of £100:j
Not looking forward to next week though as it looks like we'll need to get a lot of non food items and it's those that tend to drive the cost up eg dishwasher tablets, washing liquid, nappies for DD1 and DD2 etc :eek:11k in 2011 - £256.63 / £11,000January £10 a day - £256.63 / £3100 -
