Evening all,
I missed yesterday as I was out at a work event last night... one big pleasure for yesterday... I kissed a boy and I liked itProbably wasn't such a good idea as he sits 3 rows of desks away from me when I work from the London office... It made up for the fact I had chuck a cup of tea all over myself on the way into an important meeting with the big boss... and then in the middle of the meeting managed to headbutt the conference table by mistake! A tad embarressing.
So my pleasures from today
1) Screwing up my courage to go and say hi to said colleague this afternoon. He was very smiley but didn't ask me out again so maybe a drunken kiss is where we will have to leave it.
2) Walked 2 miles
3) Hearing that my oldest friend's little brother has gotten engaged. He has been going off the rails over the past few years and I hope that this will get him onto the straight and narrow. He's a nice guy.... was just overindulged as a kid.
4) Good rain for the seedlings
5) Caught up with my lawyer (who writes my contracts at work) this afternoon over a yummy slice of blueberry and lemon drizzle cake and cup of jasmine tea.
Night all... gotta get some sleep.
LMan plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0 -
