Hi Everyone,
What a wonderful day!
1) I went to pick up the horse poo from woman from freecycle. She turned out to be absolutely lovely and afterward texted me to invited me back to visit any time.
2) She had a lovely ragdoll cat who was so gorgeous. I just had to pick him up to give him a cuddle... and he put his muddy paws all over my pale grey top... oops... it was worth it!
3) I then had to stop off to buy something warm to wear on my hike. So I stopped in at a charity shop and got a really nice jacket for £8, which will come in handy in the future.
4) The hike was really fun. It was arranged through Meet Up so was a really random group of people. It was 10 miles though so I am exhausted!
5) Lovely hot bath then I got home!
Night all - sleep well.

Evening
Pleasures for today:
1. Up early to pick up a parcel from the post office. Decided to walk as would be an easyish training walk (4 mile round trip). Glad I did and didn't pay the £2.20 return bus fare as the parcel was a small bottle of UHT milk:rotfl:
2. £15 Debenhams voucher in the post today from a survey site so thats another christmas present sorted:j
3. Ordered the vinyl flooring for the bathroom, wasn't as expensive as we thought it was going to be as the local shop had a 20% offer on. Plus good to support a local business.
4. Lovely double rainbow this afternoon. I get get rather wet walking home but the sun was shining and seeing the rainbow was worth it. It doesn't matter how old I get there is always something magical about seeing a rainbow.
5. Tasty dinner of meatball and pasta bake. Plus OH helped prepare dinner.
Hugs to all who need them0 -
Here are mine for today:
1) Such a lovely sunny day. DH & I had a walk round town without coats on!
2) I've never had so much fun doing my washing before. The new washing machine is a dream and because of the lovely weather I was able to dry 3 loads out on the line :j
3) The in-laws took the boys out to Bewilderwood and they had a great time.
4) I made the Secret Takeaway sweet and sour chicken balls for tea followed by homemade pear crumble and everyone loved both, which was very nice.
5) Looking forward to an extra hour in bed tomorrow.
Hope everyone is having a great weekendDFW Nerd 941 Proud to be dealing with my debt
August GC £0/£3000 -
1) Coffee date with DH in our local coffee shop.
2) Finished the front of my free jumper.
3) Family tea of chilli and rice from the slow cooker. Lots left for tomorrow.
4) Clothing related - DD wore my boots and my scarf this morning. It's a good thing because I pinch all her stuff when I can (and if it fits me). Also, DS has discovered how smart he looks in his suit jacket, a shirt and jeans. I hasten to add that the suit was for his May Ball last year and Primark came up trumps again.
5) Watching the Alice in Wonderland film and sharing a bar of Divine chocolate.0
