    5 for Sunday

    1. Beautiful day, warm and almost cloud free
    2. Sat out to have breakfast, it was so peaceful - until the magpie started to 'sing' :D
    3. Lunch out with friends
    4. Watched Ballet Shoes and some of the Victoria Wood programmes this evening. I wanted to watch Conan the Barbarian but it was so bloody and violent  from the beginning I decided VW was a much nicer choice before bed
    5. A good penny phone call, really special as my lovely friend was quite lucid and chatty :)
I'm back to pulm rehab in the morning so an early night for a change
    Night night, sleep tight

    5 for today (Sunday).

    1) Had a chat on the phone with my sister.

    2) Boys went to their father's so I tidied up, cleaned the fridge and sewed all the badges on smaller son's Beavers sweatshirt.

    3) Went to see my brother for some damsons and also got raspberries and apples while I was there.

    4) Made damson gin.

    5) School friend of mine came round for tea.

    6) MrN popped in. :-)

    Morning,

Ladyhawk - Happy Birthday, hope you have a lovely day:bdaycake:

    Pleasures for yesterday:
    1. Cup of tea in bed thanks to DD
    2. Did a big Tesco shop which was over what I normally spend these days but stocked up on lots of store cupboard things and the freezer is full to bursting so should only need the basics for a couple of weeks
    3. Used the dreaded granny trolley to carry the shopping home and it did make a positive difference to my RSI
    4. Hearing a song played at the Help for Heroes concert that makes me think of my brother. Both DD and I started laughing at the same time as we both could see him singing it with the actions.
    5. Enjoying the Help for Heroes concert with DD and both singing and dancing along all night. Loved the Robbie Williams set

Hugs to all who need them

    My Pleasures so far;

    1. Getting on with work (though not right now!!)

    2. Having a meeting moved so it would not inconvenience me... how nice!! :)

    3. Its choir rehearsal tonight.

    4. having a plan of sitting in tea shop writing tonight before choir rehearsal and after work. I love writing, and haven't done nearly enough of it

    5. Being grateful for hubby and the cats. I love them all, very much!

    1. Walking around our village and bumping into several people I knew. It's nice feeling that you belong in a community when so many people know so few of their neighbours.
    2. Morning coffee in the garden and spotting a few more straggling climbing beans to be picked which seemed to have grown two inches overnight.
    3. Collecting some free apples from a neighbour's "Help Yourself" box.
    4. Being up to date with all the washing & ironing.
    5. Home made tomato soup for lunch, and a garden-grown tomato, onion & green bean ratatouille for supper planned with just bacon being purchased from a shop.
  • My five for yesterday are
    1. A lovely sunny day

    2. Washing dried on the line.

    3. Wandering round a Knole park and seeing the deer.

    4. All ironing up to date at the moment.

    5. A NSD.

    Evening all.

Ladyhawk - happy birthday! smiley-greet027.gif I hope you had a lovely day, despite it being Monday.

Primrose - your planned supper sounds . I'd never thought of putting green beans in ratatouille - I'll definitely have to try that one. Thanks for the idea! :T

Frith - snap on the damson gin! Mine's changing colour already and I only set it going on Saturday. :)

Gingerjar - my dad makes green tomato chutney and it's lovely - much nicer than the red tomato variety imo. It tends to be different every year and my dad's been making it since I was a kid - I guess it's just one of those things.
    ******************************

    My pleasures for today:

    1) NSD.

    2) Found 2p on my way to work, so I finish the day 2p in profit. :D

    3) Had some of my HM chilli jam with my lunch (the bit that wouldn't fit in the jars) - it's not quite as spicy as it was when I made it, unfortunately, but still pretty tasty.

    4) Lovely welcome home from my puddy tat - I've been away quite a lot recently, so he's obviously making the most of my company when I'm here.

    5) It's a miserable, comfort food-ish sort of evening, so I've opted for macaroni cheese with veg for dinner - yum.

    Have a lovely evening, all.
Back after a very long break!
