hiya everyone :wave::wave::wave: I'm back!!!!
Got back after the week in the caravan. it was really good seeing friends and family. kids loved it on their bikes/scooters/skateboards/in the park every day and playing with their cousins and new friends.
So mine for today
1. i am home :j
2. Kids really good on the long drive home
3. Catching up on a weeks worth of Eastenders.
4. Dh won another £50 of asda vouchers for all the hard work he put in before the holiday. Good timing as money a bit short after the holiday. :T
5. Bil got a car battery for me at cost price so my car should be up and running tomorrow.
Its so nice to be home and tomorrow I can get back to flylady and get some baking done.
Have a good evening everyone.0 -
Hi Berniesmaster, we could have had a mini-meet around Stonehenge, lol. That was where the traffic was bad for us, lol. We took a very leisurely and circuitous route home ("via" Sidmouth from Salcombe, lol) and stopped off at the P!zza Hut just after the 'stones' for dinner on the way, yummy but expensive
The good beach is Bantham £5 for parking, sand dunes, a couple of cute donkeys for little ones to ride on, (hunky) surfers to admire, lots of friendly people to chat to etc, Hope Cove is also fabulous (but was too seaweedy for us on the day we drove down there).
1. Decided that after having a week in a nice clean house, home was probably ripe for a Kim & Agie makeover, so have attacked the bathroom and dishwasher, woo hoo!
2. Went to a local beach and enjoyed some sand with our stones, DD was impressed and has requested a return visit with a kite as it was nice and windy
3. We managed to avoid buying icecream at the beach, thank goodness, I was getting worried DD would turn into a flake if she had another 99!
4. Stopped off at a park on the way back from the beach where DD had a great time playing and then we went to look at lots of funky houseboats and listened to a great choir singing at a music festival. Totally unplanned and totally cool
5. A friendly lady passed me her parking ticket to save me 25p at the park
6. Yummy pineapple on offer at Mr W, how could we resist, I might have to have a last slice before bed.
7, Managed to resist buying croissants and had muesli instead for late brekkie as we had nothing fresh in, so had to go out for milk, pineapple and other essentials, lol.0 -

Hello guys
The weather was supposed to be bad, and it was lovely! Well done man in the sky for only leaving his taps on at night
1. Had a really cool day out in Brighton with OH. Sat on the beach, ate fish n chips, played a 10p machine in the arcade, had sushi (my favourite ) and played eye-spy on the way back. Lots of fun
2. After much deciding, we went out for chinese Sat eve, which was really nice. Nice to go out and eat.
3. The thunder and lightning was cool to hear/see and it was brill it only happened at night!
4. Got a hands-free kit for my mobile/car for free when I upgraded. I'd only asked for a car charger, and got this. Bonus!
5. More washing and cleaning - it's refreshing I suppose!
Hope you all enjoy the day :cool:0 -

berniesmaster and reverbe - I know what you mean, when I first joined I didn't get anything for months at a time. But since christmas, things have really picked up for me, last month alone I had about 3 or 4 items to test.
Morning all,. A little grey here this morning, but I hope it stays dry as I have a full washing machine waiting to go outside.
Here are yesterdays pleasures:
- Packed another suitcase ready to go on thursday night.
- Found just what I was looking for in Peacocks - a long kaftan to go over my swimming costume and cover up my flab! It was only £8 too. Also bought a huge bag (This one in the spotty print, I think it looks Cath Kidston'ish!) I should be able to get all of our beach stuff in there.
- Roast rib of beef, HM yorkshire puds (made extra for the freezer too), Roast Pots and Vegetables.
- Read lots more of my book. Its rather like a text book, but I am enjoying it none the less.
- DH cleaning the bath for me :A. Its something I find difficult to do and he offered to do it for me - no nagging involved at all :rotfl:Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

Hi sorry for slight delay in responding but elderflower cordial is worth making but I do put in slightly less sugar than my recipe otherwise is too sweet for my taste.
It needs to be left for 24 hours but isn't time consuming and tastes great.0 -
Good morning all
hope you are well, will take a look at everyones pleasures a little later. Struggling today to find some as my lungs have moved up from annoyance to stroppy teenager status and are definitely not happy lol. I am trying to avoid the old costa del NHS but who knows.....OK lemme think....
1. Got my hospital appointment tomorrow so hopefully they can do something for me then
2. The weather isn't too hot today so can slowly do some housework
3. My freezers are slowly reducing in the amount in them so I can defrost one today or tomorrow
4. Seeing everything in my garden growing
5. Wearing one of my favourite jumpers to cheer me up
Have a good day allFeb GC: £200 Spent: £190.790
