Pleasures for today (Monday)
1) A good sleep! Smaller son asleep until almost 11 (INSET day).
2) Hens well.
3) Bigger son out nearly all day (is still out, on his bike).
4) Took the car for its MOT and it failed only on 2 registration plate bulbs!
5) Smaller son and I went in to town to trade in a computer game for him.
6) Had a good tidy up after the weekend.
7) Sitting in bed catching up with 24 Hours in Police Custody.
8) Looking forward to I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue later.0 -

Pleasures for yesterday:
1. Homemade bread and rolls
2. No cooking at dinner time as the lasagne from the night before made enough for 2 days
3. A whole punnet of completely free strawberries (plants were already there from the last people to love here)
4. While family chores afternoon has left the house cleaner/tidier than it's been in months
5. Enjoyed a hot bubble bath

2. NSD
3. Much needed daughter hugs. I was feeling a bit bleugh earlier on, no reason why, and her hugs have pepped me up
4. Reading a great book DD has loaned me - some of her "young adult" books are fab. She doesn't like chicklit stuff - this one is first person intertwining recounts of 4 young people all in a bad situation in Germany during WW2.
5. Went for a swim before school0 -
1. Pay day
2. stationery
3. letter writing
4. annual leave
5. getting good news0 -
Good morning!
Not read back yet, but did notice KK comment about DD's'Young Adult' books. DS1 was an avid reader and we have inherited his Harry Potter box set and read all the Cherub books. I recommend Rooftoppers and The Dark Lord trilogy too!
Monday
1. No students at school, so v quiet.
2. Dentist appt. Not a pleasure, but, no fillings and just needed a clean and polish!:j
3. HM burgers for tea and trimmings.
4. Cream donuts are on offer in MrT, so me and DH Had one each. No one else at home likes them.
5. 2 episodes of Madmen Box set watched.
DH said I had the look of someone who didn't want to go to sleep, because then it will be tomorrow. He knows me well! Hope you all have nice days.0
