    * Quoye is making jokes. She dropped her bib and told her mom "get my bib". Mom said "can you say please get my bib"? Quoye says "what did you say"? Mom answers "please get my bib". Quoye looks at DD1 and says "I don't see your bib", and starts laughing. Then she says 'think about it'!
    This child is two!

    * A call from DD3 that she will fly into Albuquerque for Easter while we are there at DD1's house. The Easter egg hunt will be well attended! I let DS3 know he was expected.

    * Right eye cataract surgery was a success. Now for the left next week while in Albuquerque.

    * DH went and bought 16 oz. T-bone steaks that were on sale and grilled them. Rare baby! Asparagus was added to the side.

    * Michael Connelly's Bosch on Amazon Prime.

Fun fact: Echo also knew Waylon Jennings, Roy Orbison and met Elvis backstage once. She said he offered to kiss her but she was too shy.
Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Mila glad your eye surgery went well

I actually enjoyed work today . Went by quickly.

Made a lovely steak pie for tea , with mashed potatoes, peas and carrots and snow peas .

DD1 has made a pear and raspberry sponge for pud, using up some sad looking pears in the fruit bowl.

One of OHs colleagues from Sydney office came to pick up some keys. Was nice to chat but he had OHs car with him go drive back up to Sydney, so that felt a bit odd seeing it parked outside. Even though it went away 4 weeks ago.

    Have a good day :)

2, Cat sitting my friends 2 and although very old boys it is good to see them happy and healthy.
3, Gardens at the front of the office all new growth. The gardeners on the business park work hard.
4, Pizza lunch for staff as someone is retiring.

I know, was inn the Bridge last night! Until the softies at mse unlock their algorithm BoP is unable to bring exciting events like Live Scrabble. Just so you know, BoPsie is currently only one win away from the chance of two on the bounce.
Oh look, DD, the convenor. Bruvvers, we need to vote on this. No, think of the toilets in the Barbican! More later! Minds me now of the Wheel Tappers and Shunters Club. Coming later … Mind you, just put me envelope back inn the post for my mega union. Was the good old EETPU under good old Frank!
5 For those that know, I am still under an embargo at BoP Palace. So here is the last update till the tour of BoP starts. And that is Friday to the Shuttleworth Collection. Sparks, Magnetos, Props, and Chocks.
4 And Fryday is the new Saturday, as we will be having the full big Saturday Breakfast. Double snorkers, best back, mushrooms, grilled star cut toms, buttered toast, and scrambled eggs. More tomorrow. Tum shall be rubbed. Proper food, not that carp some of you lot have been munching on! I ask you! Actually, that joint of burger place, uses proper foods, unlike some other places like the cheese on toast emporiums!
3 On proper food, BoP is now only three days until BoP will be munching his prawn starter, large haddock and chips, and Jelly and ice cream in Steels Corner House. Proper food again. Not that carp!
2 Gosh that is BoP started on Proper Food again and at elevenses this very morning, I had my orange and cake of Jaffa. Proper elevenses not that drink that got it wrong again!
Mill is a things of last week tomorrow!

    Hi all
    An assortment of pleasures

    1. An office to myself, sheer bliss as I could work in peace with a lovely cuppa and my own thoughts.
    2. As above productive day, many many holidays booked in for many many staff.
    3. Hit the reduced aisle at the right time and came up with chicken pie and ready mash for hubby and littles, burritos and rice for me and tall son.
    4. Two cakes ruined by rubbish failing oven, pleasure being the ability to nibble the remains with tea :j
    5. Youngests room nearly cleared of all furniture and gubbins ready for painting day tomorrow

6 Kids break from school tomorrow, I'm a little sad that this will be the first school hols ever I am working. But they are being farmed out to several sets of people who love them to bits and they will have a ball.
    Night xx

    Quick pleasures for today:

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Signed on :-/

    3) Bigger son had a reasonable day at school including 3 hours of trying to finish Resistant Materials GCSE project!

    4) Bigger son swapped the chain and pedals on his bike and seemed happier generally.

    5) Smaller son very argumentative and clingy but fell asleep while I was reading him a story.

    6) Nice message from (former) colleague.

    7) Sunny all day.
  • 1) Won a lovely thing for the Zebra child on E bay and collected it yesterday, so impressed, he'll love it!

    2) Lunch out at the New Forest pub we visited last week as well so indulged in another Smoked Salmon and Crayfish Salad with Samphire.....just as delicious this week too!

    3) Washing dried outside and I had the pleasure of getting it in and folding it enjoying that 'just washed' smell, love it!

    4) DD1 had ultrasound on poorly swollen foot and they can see no damage or cause but there is previously undetected ankle damage from a previous repair operation which might be causing all her discomfort, will refer her to orthopaedics to see what can be done, result!

    5) He Who Knows is going fishing today, he works so hard in the garden and other plots it's a real pleasure to see him take some time off to just relax specially on such a golden day as this promises to be!
