With due respect to BoP’s home pc not connecting to the world of mse due to their softies algorithm being disruptive. You cannot block BoP forever!
KatKins. BoPsie was give an pad of eye a few months ago and she is very proficient with it. So much so, she registers for sites and gets loads of things. She managed to get into this parish as some name like Boppette! Well, she wanted to add a ditty to this secret club of ours, and all L broke loose! She got kicked off, and may I say rightly so, and our IP address was band! Obviously as BoP works at the mill, I has means of getting inn!
5 Had to pick up, or as we say in BoP sphere of influence, scoop, BoPsie up from the town last evening. She is on the streets earning beer chits for BoP. She does not have to, but the pockets of BoP are deep and his arms are short.
4 Up road in Vickies husbands pub, the bar singer has been tweeting. Oh dear, one of the reason I voted out lass. Just like Bobby when he came on his yacht from his tax exile. No I did not get it from the mail either. Just check on Article 8, and then wonder why the southern shores of the Mediterranean are not as with. Says things like those on the fringes of the community should be treated beneficially. Just like Greece! It stopped us trading with the world and we see the problems on those shores. Now is our time to lead, forget the rules and let us build the water tower (The Bar singer never says that, nor do the second list comics or that show on the Bolshevik Broadcasting Commissariat) . Then the house and manufactory, that the club singer saw fit not. Oh the pub, the Prince Albert. I think you know who the bar singer is! Grace us with song, don’t preach to me.
3 Just minds me of being inn Hardh in the nineties. The water used to come on about every ten or so days. You filled your boots and your tanks. The tanks stored enough for around twenty eight days! Then in 92, the water tower was commissioned. All celebrations for a town of around 3,000 people. Local shepherd bought his goats along, thinking he never had to find water for them again. To him it was like landing on the moon. The difference it made in that town was beyond imagination.
2 That’s enough rant! Builder is in. BoPsie got two packets of wholemeal chocolate biscuits for him, loads of tea etc. I am please to say inn two days, the biscuits are gone. It is going to cost BoP a fortune for BoPsie’s dressing table!
They’d make mincemeat out of that …0 -

Mhags, Does all that delicious fruit make the cake healthier, it sounds delicious.
I was a keen bee yesterday morning, waiting on the online appointments to be released, got an apt at the docs, I have lost some weight and the blood pressure has lowered although I wonder if some of that is to do with I can pay some bills. But I have a kidney infection, some antibiotics and painkillers, hoping they kick in soon. It was nice to take yesterday easy.
Tonight’s grub will be chicken wraps with salsa, brown turmeric rice and salad.
Tulips are starting to come out giving a dash of colour.
Washing is up to date for today at least both animals and us.
Looking forward to working at home tomorrow, I won’t be missing the commute,0 -
* First eye over and done and is blurrier (is that a word?) than before plus there is a shadow on the right side. The surgeon assures it will all go away in a month but I dunno, because my vision is worse than before. Slightly worried. But glad I got one done...if it improves that is.....
* Fabulous late birthday dinner with DD1 and her family. We went to 'Crackin Crab' and had a seafood boil in Louisiana hot crab sauce that we poured out onto a butcher paper covered table and ate with our hands. Much beer and iced tea was also on hand to wash it all down. There were big plastic bibs to cover us and a large sink to wash up in after the hog-in. We strolled around downtown Albuquerque afterwards and stopped at a microbrewery. More beer was consumed and many games played. Quoye was the winner! Really. We then went to a coffee shop for peach sorbet for all with coffee on the side and chai latte for me. They had lots of fresh baked goods but sorbet seemed to be the preferred dessert after the humongous Louisiana boil we annihilated. DD1 was the happiest I have seen her in some time.
* OH brought fresh black bass (he had caught) for the tribe and DS3 was able to come for dinner. Quoye loves fish! She was happy two nights in a row with such going ons. She is now saying words like lovely, wonderful, incredible etc. Almost three she is in June. All is well with the hens laying, garden planted, bunnies chomping in the large fenced patio, and general spring in the air at DD1's house. Now if her husband would just get a full-time job. He's a web designer and has an at home business that he sort of works at doing. Here's hoping.
* We arrived home to the roses blooming in a glorious display in the front yard. (We say front yard and back yard) Anyway DH was so fired up by our daughter's garden that he spent the morning working in the yard and then getting our garden ready to plant.
* Living room cleaned from top to bottom. Big accomplishment! Huge!
The rest of the house given a lick and a promise. But it all looks better.
* Thinking of my darling mother after reading Lainey's sweet post.
* DD2 is in Key West with her new slimmer body making its way into many FB photos and texts. She has lost 70 lbs after having gastric sleeve surgery. Blood pressure and cholesterol now normal and she's off those meds.
* DD3 on her way to NYC...just missing the Penzances. Well shucks! The life lessons she could have watched being made and hopefully very much enjoyed...although her pocket do not reach to $400 and what with BoP's short arms...
A conference and a wedding to attend.Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Thanks, all.
Get well soon, PK.
Liking the sound of the crab, Mila.
2 days off work anyway due to terrible head cold.
Can barely remember yesterday!
Pleasures for today:
1) Getting better as the day went on.
2) Bigger son went into school for 3 lessons.
3) Worked on the allotment a bit after that. The rat plague continues with 7 running out from under a concrete slab! All traps set...
4) Tided up the living room.
5) I have a mobile phone with several messages on from a famous former football player! Oooo, the circles I move in! Pity they're all about smaller son's football training over Easter :-D Have booked that up and he's got 4 full days of football in the week that he has to go to his father's, so that will keep him busy.
6) Made a tasty tea.
7) So many nice texts and FB messages from colleagues at school, am surprised as I assumed they barely tolerated me.
8) Spoke to my old school friend this evening for 2 hours!
9) In bed with 1hwb and will watch something on iplayer, I think.0 -
Yesterday my solicitor kindly countersigned many certificates of identity. OH's death certificate, mine and kids birth, our marriage and randomly one that needed my drivers licence ! He did not charge me for his time.
Paperwork done and posted...now need to wait.
Beans on toast for tea.
Today
I was caused much distress this morning in the bank by rude lady of a few weeks ago. I have 2 sizeable cheques made payable to the estate of the late husband and I need to pay them in . My solicitor has insisted that legally I do not need probate, the will left everything to me and we have joint accounts. I went in today with my newly certified document and she just said so, you've got probate now? I said no, I don't need probate. She said yes you do. I said no I don't, my solicitor has told me legally I dont, she then rudely said I did and that she wouldn't be opening an account for these cheques without it. At this point I walked out of bank. I was so distressed and upset. I could hardly breath.
Despite having been rudely told 2 weeks ago I could not make any official changes without a death certificate ( I had a copy of the medical notification of death ( death certificates are not issued here until the funeral has taken place and contain this information) but was told this was not enough) yesterday I received a letter from the banks department in South Autsralia that deals with deceased accounts. This stated that accounts had now been closed. All bar our main one were now in my name.
I phoned this department this morning from my car in the carpark , still distressd and just wanting this sorted out. Person I spoke to kept saying my husband's middle name as his first , then spelling my surname wrong so no wonder it wasn't coming up on her computer, I was getting more and more distressed as call went on. ' are you okay? ' I was asked. No I am not.
She turned out to be very kind and will look into the branch matter from this morning and called me back this afternoon to let me know she will be in touch again by Monday afternoon.
I had a lovely dog walk round parklands with DD2 who is now on school hols for 2 weeks.
Met my old main colleague for lunch and had a lovely catch up with her, she gave me some gorgeous yellow roses and gerberas.
It has been so cool I have been able to wear long jeans, socks and boots and wait for it....a jumper all day! With a blanket on my knees for good measure!
Leftovers for tea.
Have a good day0 -
Just popping in quickly to send hugs to mhags, what appalling treatment. I hope you will complain to her superiors when you are feeling a little stronger.
Please take care of yourself, it's been such a short time and you have been running around doing everything.

Frith - hope you are ok.
Pleasures for the last couple
1. Got loads done on trains in the last 2 days - to ICT, then to London from ICT (5 hours!!) yesterday
2. ICT was very wet and the Ice cream factory was closedI guess the pleasure is that i didn't consume the calories:rotfl:
3. DD stayed in ICT for another night. She used to say she hated it and was never going again. Now she volunteers to go and stay longer. Home must be bad
4. Lovely walk back to Euston yesterday through Regent's park - daffodils, sunshine, people out in force.
5. Good meeting with supervisor regarding conference paper. She says i need to be braver... i AM establishing a new theoretical framework no ifs, buts or maybes.
6. Prime Suspect, 1973 - though i really would like to see how this Jane Tennyson becomes the later Jane Tennyson. Maybe that is for series 2. Did knitting while i watched.
Housework, washing, lunch with former colleagues today (we have formed an "escaped" committee :rotfl:). MiL arriving later - wish me luck...I wanna be in the room where it happens0
