Will try to think of 5 pleasures for yesterday. Not many especially as they are now upping the number of people going to be made unemployed and it is 90% likely to include me...
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Work went OK.
3) Went to Ludlow after work to look round the charity shops. Didn't find anything.
4) Lit the stove so it was warm and cosy.
5) Sunday dinner reheated for tea!
6) Texts from my sister which were cheering.
7) Listened to Just a Minute.0 -
Morning y'all
Sorry to hear about the job situation frith, here's hoping something better is waiting for you!
1. Terrible nights sleep, however I pushed on and had a productive day at work.
2. Might of had a wee snooze when I came home.
3. Snugs with kiddies and doggy baby.
4. Hubby making dinner and not burning himself. He did however break my whisk attachment for mixer, have emailed the company to see if they can replace.
5. Might of accidentally swallowed a few chocolate biccies, however my Lenten resolve of abstaining from coffee is going well.
Have a sunny day folks.
Stay safe mhags tell Debbie to !!!!!! off xSIMPLY BE-££577.11:eek:

BoP is having to sneak inn at the mill at the moment, so not seeing all post. No doubt Frith had another HWB and a good nights sleep. DD be careful with the piano tuner!
Good news, my comrade in arms is to be free
5 Was down in my tutu again yesterday and all I can say is beach ready. Is it easter yet? The donkeys will not know what has hit them! BoPsie expressed that after her fitness run, that she struggled for twenty minutes getting her bra off. It would not have taken BoP that long! No, it would not have needed scissors either!
4 Tickets for the ballet has arrived. Itinerary now fully sore ted.
Sunday. Picnic in central park, PM2DD BoP will be in his mariner top. It has to be done. Meggies everywhere! Cats front row on Broadway.
Monday. The French gift to America when the Prussians liberated Paris! Oh, and some island.
Tuesday that small bell in Philadelphia, and others
Wednesday. Smithsonian Museum, bus tour of Washington and lunch with Donald. Oh, and the reason I work at the mill. The Apollo 11 command module.
Thursday. Messing around, here there every where.
Friday. At the ballet in the Lincoln Centre.
Saturday home.
You only go once.
3 Oh, and tour next weekend as well. Shuttleworth collection. Lincoln (argh) Skeggies and Cleethorpes. For those who know, BoP will be doing the Steels Corner House challenge. Prawn starter. Large Haddock and Chips. Jelly and ice cream. Tum shall be rubbed!
2 Day Raffles has been out decimating the vermin. BoPsie is giddy with fear! All we do is try and feed him.
Any chance of a peep see at home?

Not good on the job front Frith, let's hope it's a 'as one door closes another opens ' situation.
Some recent pleasures,
Hung new curtains in sitting room, four pairs so pulling through of the cords made for sore fingers but worth it when stood back and admired the result.
Pots of flowering anemones and tulips in bud, as is the apple tree. Herbs are coming back and all is looking green and lush.
Mottled coat on my big dog, plucking the hair out as she sat next to me on the back doorstop and watching it float into the hedge, more bedding for baby birds.
Popped over to see DN before she flies abroad to help build a school, sat in the garden with cup of tea and pleasure of feeling tad too warm in sun.
Earache came on in evening so early night and warm olive oil did trick.0 -
1) Nice swim this morning, managed 10 lengths and am beginning to find my confidence again.
2) Bluebells open on the footpaths and almost open on the front lawn here under the apple trees.
3) Wore one of my new fleeces as I was feeling chilly and am impressed at how toasty I became within a couple of minutes of putting it on.
4) Found a football sized reduced cauliflower in the Co Op yesterday and used some of it to make cauliflower cheese soup for the next few days. A cup after the swim was perfect!
5) Maisie doggie is coming for the evening, Mum has to go to one of the twins concerts so we'll have Maisie until her dad gets home then we'll walk her back home.0 -

Ooooh frith! hope you're okay .
I was just popping in early to say good morning from Wednesday..it's my birthday and I have a balloon to prove it! I've just been up and showered and shall have some curls in my hair as I sit and type this with my Velcro rollers in!
I am also starting my new to me job this afternoon, local newsagents mon- fri 6.30am-10.30am . Hoping it suits me just right! Going in to see how everything works and where everything goes!
Yesterday I enjoyed a lovely walk with Haggis. Our first cool morning of autumn...needed a jumper on...I know...radical!
Came home and made a very nice hummingbird cake and a pavlova for today's celebrations l
We had lasagne with salad for tea .
I got a bit of paperwork done. There is a semblance of order in what needs doing.just need to get about a zillion certificates ( birth, marriage, death, drivers licence) certified by solicitor ( Thursdays job of the day) and then can progress from there.
I was on my own for the first time in many weeks. Kids were all out at uni/ school. Just me and my dog. ....that would be me and my bad dog....who had a chunk of cake in his mouth when I nipped out the room! Luckily not my birthday cake part but an extra loaf I'd made with excess mix!
Took a bag of DD1 stuff to Salvios and popped some old magazines in too!
Right , there's a bad dog to let out and feed breakfast to....me and my curly hair will be meeting a friend at 7.45am so shall need to get a wriggle on!0 -

1 Sent off campsite bookings for steam fairs this year
2 Paid the water bill, a pleasure to be able
3 Came home to find DH had spent the day deep cleaning the animal run and lounge, lovely to come back to.
4 DH has started to jet wash off the patio but I will be finishing it at some point as it hurts him too much, I find it messy and therapeutic.
5 Simple minted veg and lamb tonight, it was tastey
I am a bit poorly, still working but a day off tomorrow for the doc’s, but I am miffed to find out my appointment has been moved now I have to phone for a cancellation, Flippin flip flip. useless.0
