Good morning everyone (just!)
mhags - hurrah for a washing machine to lighten the load.
Pleasures for the weekend so far:
1) Lunch out with DH yesterday. Talked about the world and sorted out life. Ok, not quite so but always good to chat without home distractions.
2) Ironing pile disappeared and not because it's been shoved in a cupboard.
3) Popped into Wilkos and saved £4 on stuff I normally buy in Mr T's.
4) Big shop done.
5) Watched my boys on Friday night (Leicester Tigers). They didn't win, but the head coach/acting Director of Rugby touched my arm in greeting. I almost passed out. Almost. He's lovely.
Have a good Sunday everyone.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
Lovely to hear from you mhags, I cant imagine how people with kids functioned before the washing machine lol. Max sends woofy licks to haggis.
Saturday pleasures:
1. Scrambled eggs and bacon for brekkie. I love Saturday morning knowing I don't have to do a ussan bolt out the door unlike weekdays lol.
2. Trip to the park with the family, fun on the swings produced lots of giggles.
3. All school uniform washed and ready for Monday (as I said above lol how did people wash lol)
4. Scrummy lasagne for tea, followed by pringles and a bar of whole nut watching snt
5. Being with my precious family, a million blessings.
Have a great Sunday xSIMPLY BE-££577.11:eek:

1) Wonderful (the best I've had in the UK) Thai meal last night in a newly opened restaurant with DD1 and He Who Knows, definitely one to do again.
2) Good run home, light traffic and no hold ups followed by a trip to our big Mr.T for supplies for the week for us, DD2 and the grandsons.
3) Just had an unexpected delivery from Amazon and bless DD1 she's got me some Elbow CDs (I love the music but had none of my own) and two more to come, such a lovely surprise!
4) Jacket potatoes for lunch ready to go as I cooked them on Thursday morning before we left, I'm amazed at how well they keep in the fridge and how well they reheat when we want to eat them.
5) Blue sky and sunshine out there and there seems to be a weather gap so I'm going to give Cookie a walkies and stretch my leggies, lovely!!!0 -
beard waxes. :-/Boiled egg and marmite soldiers for a leisurely Saturday breakfast.
As for the newbie with sprouts. I am staying well clear. Sprout dear are for christmas and turkeys. I see no ...
5 Now for proper food. BoP yesterday had his brunch. proper food. Best back, snorker, mushroom, haricot beans in tomato sauce, hot buttered toast with fried egg. Wolfed down with tea.
4 Then for supper we had homemade chicken tikka. Recipe was here last week and remember that sticky chicken is so last year now. Wobbleade was consumed and we were to watch Batman vs Superman. Carp Avoid. BoP watched A shot in the dark instead.
3 As BoP is on the subject of testing and telling you what not to waste your pennies on, including peanut butter! Well at the six pack session, there are lots of carp magazines with such stories of monsters and creepy crawlies etc, BoP does check the cooking pages, in case they have used one of my recipes. Well there was a fallout piece of paper offering a free go on some bingo website. It was carp. Avoid. If you have too many pennies and want it laundering, my account is with Coutts! Details available!
2 Day BoP is preparing Salmon, poached with mixed mushy garden peas and buttered minted new tatties. Fresh non lumpy homemade parsley sauce will be served.
That's enough, on your way now!0 -
Good afternoon folks. May I join in please?

Have a good Sunday.
