Crumbs Mhags! First day back.Spiders. One of the pensioners will win Mila! Steamed up Frith!
5 Thank goodness that the blocker of beta has reduced. Bloomy statins remain, for the time being! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh. Other pills are available on repeat prescriptions.
4 So that is that sore ted. Just bin into next town to get papers done. Phew, sometimes you get it without burping. Checked out the greasy spoon for a date with BoPsie. Joes Gaff, well something lkike that. Looks a bit tooooo posh for BoPsie, but she will revel in her rags of glad. About time shoe got away from the ironing bored and sink.
3 Bloomy contract is in the ether somewhere, being signed and parted with the partries involed. Gore Don Ben Eats Us!
2 Night I will not be watching LieSter! PM2DD I will be listening to the best match at the Fish Bowl as the mariners take on Newpot Counters! As for the engerland manager. It is not BoP's choice!
Come on I need to ...0 -
1) He Who Knows is feeling slightly better today, his antiboiotics are starting to work, thank goodness for the NHS!
2) Lovely walk with Cookie this afternoon, had the footpaths to ourselves and it was quiet, peaceful and very pleasant.
3) Found some conkers for my Autumn bowl.
4) Poached eggs on toast for lunch.
5) Went to the library when I went shopping this morning and found a new book by one of my favourite authors. That's me sorted for the rest of the day!0 -
1. A good weekend, enjoyed watching rugby and seeing all season ticket holders around us. A win helped too.
2. My sister and her family came on Sunday for a BBQ and luckily the weather was good. DS2 entertained her children.
3. Flowers are looking good and my sister brought me some.
4. Work has been ok. Boss has addressed the issue in a round about way but still feel it is being glossed over.
5. DS2 has job interviews.0 -
1. A couple of jobs came up today and had a call late tonight about a new one that looks and sounds spot on. Time to get my hopes up again,..:o
2. 2 washing loads hung out on the line clothes and towels.
3. Leftover mix for dinner tonight, leftover mash, with bangers from the freezer, and of course baked beans. We are determined not to shop until Thursday that way it’s one smaller shop with enough bread to get through the weekend without the need to shop again, but we ran out of all bread yesterday, I am quite enjoying the challenge.:o:T
4. All animal bedding changed, house hoovered and mopped, so at least clean-ish.:)
5. One for later, looking forward to a soak in the tub.0 -
My pleasures for today
1. Another placement sorted towards finishing my college course.
2. Another assignment finished.
3. Home made spicy lentil soup.
4. Organising some work for next week.
5. More ideas towards craft fair in November.0 -
Pleasures for today (Tuesday)
1) Not a bad sleep, though woken by the cat an hour earlier than I would have liked.
2) Work went OK, including appraisal (I haven't actually read it yet).
3) Went to see my school friend after work for a cup of tea.
4) Lovely book about chickens arrived through the post for bigger son's birthday later this week.
5) Hens OK.
6) Watched Holby.
7) Got bigger son to do his maths homework.
Last few hours overshadowed somewhat by a horrible, lurching feeling at about 5.30pm which was my heart doing a massive "kick" and has been running at 100BPM ever since DESPITE beta blockers which are supposed to stop this...0 -
Firth  Call your doctor and report. Sounds like beta blockers aren't working out for you at all.
* getting some headway in doing paperwork. I hate this and procrastinate but I pulled up my big girl britches today and made a start.
* DD2 got back DNA results for one of her mutts that we were sure was mostly Doberman. Not so! 25% Dobby, 25% pit bull terrier (shocking), 25% mixed, 12.5% Lab, and 12.5% Chow (more shock). She has 3 aggressive doggie breeds in her line but she is the meekest shyest girl I have ever seen. She looks like a small Dobby with a hint of Labrador.
* Cooked out of food storage. :money: Not wasting food and saving moolah!!
HM salsa with our garden jalepanoes. They are hotter than earlier this summer.
* Started S2 of Wallander. He's a very crabby guy.
* More tomatoes ripening soon. :jOverprepare, then go with the flow.

Hoping all well with you &
1) (is a bit childish I know but...) Google celebrated 18 years yesterday. I had said last week it was launched 1998 and someone insisted they were using it much earlier than that. smug :-)
2) having watched the placing rocks first video I decided on the important things for the day and had a very successful day
3) ds has settled into Glasgow (PhD started Monday) he has an office with a key and has already 'learnt tons'
4) dd1 is down in London for work and arrived safely
5) mr p not only picked me up from work but cooked me chicken Kiev. We're a bit low on veg but I rustled up a very nice ratatouille from an onion, 2 peppers going slightly wrinkly which he admits he would have thrown away, tin of toms and chilli flakes. There is enough left for my lunch, pasta already cooked.MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Hello, Wednesday evening . Had a busy day so just sitting on backside for a little while., it has stayed dry although we've been hearing about a storm coming all day. We've just seen on the news that the whole state of South Australia is without electrical power. I think the storm is heading our way.
Early start. OH had CT scan. I sat and read whilst he went in.
Dropped off clean teatowels at work, literally ran in and went straight back out! Don't want to be there any longer than I have to.
Brunch. We were told we were looking very smart!
Quick home and grabbed a doggy. Had a lovely walk if a tad damp underfoot.
My turn to see a specialist so I'm now on a waiting list for an op. Finished my library book whilst I waited.
Then we did grocery shop. Fridge full again.
Cottage pie and veggies for dinner.
Sunflower seedlings peeking through.
Have a good day0 -
Aye Lass, DD you're right about the Engerland Job. Time to get Klipperdy Klopp!
5 See, I did not watch LieSter last evening. BoPsie took her man out and plied him with intoxicating substances. She's such a tease! Now if you are paying attention this week, you will of curse nose that doing this keeps the sparks going. Got it?
4 And we were watching the Mighty Mariners on BoPsie's fone sky bet app. #UTM and we are on DD's tail still!
3 Contract still inn the ether! Bum!
2 Nite BoP shall be watching the Aresenal. Come on you gunners!
For no nonsense advice, bu99er off and go elsewhere0
