    3) Mum and dad went to smaller son's school to see the upper school he is going to move to (the school is on 2 different sites). I've never been sure they actually believe he has autism

my MiL is the same about DD - "are you sure she's got Aspergers?" Yes, we are sure (and so is she) and we try to say that she hasn't got Aspergers she 'is' Aspergers and always has been, but we only worked it out two years ago...
4 – Democracy. Like it or loath it, the Brexit campaign shows how passionate we are about our country and how we get a chance to change that.

    Have a lovely day everyone.

Was going to change that to Remain campaign thus Proving your point :rotfl: Perhaps we'd better say "in/ out referendum". Regrettably i think some people are rather too passionate and these next few days are a big unknown. i will be in a muddy field listening to good music and eating amazing food - fortunately.

Around 10pm your time tonight please think your most positive thoughts , we will be at hospital.

    Have a good day :)

Thoughts and wishes are with you now....

    Pleasures for last whenever..

    1. Went to Minehead for the weekend. Always nice to spend time together as a family - we are running out of it as DS gets older....
    2. Beautiful wild flowers sown on a roundabout near here - doesn't take much to liven things up really
    3. A horrible job finished and a chapter closed (sorry for vagueness) onwards and upwards.
    4. packing for Glasto - :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
    5. Take away curry on Father's day and to celebrate end of horrible job
    6. My poor DD is mourning the loss of Anton Yelchin. She loved him - end of. he is one of the factors that started her off on the acting lark. No pleasure really, it is a senseless loss. I had to ring and tell her as we had just skyped before i saw the news so i knew she didn't know and wanted to break it gently. i know she didn't know him as such, but she had invested a lot emotionally. People have been kind to her, even though to most it was "just an actor" so i guess that is the pleasure.
    7. it has stopped raining - and the forecast for the next 5 days is ok - ish.
    8. My foot that i knackered walking around london seems to be on the mend. i have 12 - 14 mile days coming up so it needs to be fit.
    9. My friend is coping well with the loss of her mother.
    10. ITS GLASTONBURY TOMORROW :T:j:T:j:T:j

See you on the other side...
I wanna be in the room where it happens

McHags: Thoughts and good wishes are with you and DH.
    Firth: Have a wonderful time.

DH’s x rays where today, thankfully the radiologist was lovely, taking the x ray apart to show him how it worked, he’s always an engineer. And while she wasn’t able to provide answers per se as they aren’t allowed too the x rays have shown things, to the extent that she actually took double the x rays at all angles. Fair to say we are both worried puts it mildly, I am completely distracted. But there is nothing we can do until we know more as we may be worrying over something that’s not as serious, we won’t know for a few weeks.

    1. Feels a bit selfish to say but work was a welcome distraction, and I guess will be for a few weeks, as well as income.
    2. DH and I spending time gardening tonight.
    3. Casserole has been slow cooking today – just added dumplings and found my appetite.
I will bank 4 and 5 when the pleasures are clearer.

Have been thinking of you this evening, MHags and MrMHags.

Thinking of Mr and Mrs PK also.

    Pleasures for today:

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Lettuce from the allotment for my lunchtime salad.

    3) Work not too bad.

    4) Went to see my friend in town after work for a cup of tea.

    5) Have lost 4lbs since last Tuesday. 12 stones 10 now and want to be under 12 stones ideally by summer holiday time.

    6) An interesting leaflet came through the post from our parish council (first we have ever had, in 19 years of living here!!) We now have the code to the defibrillator that is in the former red telephone box. Must tell sons that the code is on our fridge.

    7) Made some Jack Monroe burgers for tea (the famous 9p ones) and have enough mixture left to make it into meatballs for tea tomorrow.

    8) School friend and my sister phoned re birthday plans.

    9) Healthy eating and no spending money until August is going OK...

BoP trust you're taking care of Jenny as she does for you, she's done well. considering...;)
We had a neighbour called Gordon Bennett, every time my OH went into the garden to dig, mow, plant etc., his wife who was a bit of a crone would send Gordon out to do the same. He'd come stomping up the garden with his hands in his pockets and cap pulled low, pause by my OH, mutter 'I 'ate you' and continue trudging along his path :rotfl:

    Stay safe :)
