Not a very good day today, felt quite low and DH had a difficult day too, but had a good evening with my girls, 2 nieces and SIL and anyway, that is why I am here, to focus on the positives.

    1. Had a lie in, DH took DD2 to school.

    2. DH came back from school run with a coffee & breakfast for me.

    3. Was told by another mum at DD2's dance class how lovely DD1 is and how she'd be thrilled if her daughter grew up to be like her. Proud Mummy moment.

    4. 10 year old niece confided in me that she is having a few pre-period pains (she's not started yet, but thinks she will soon) and asked what she should do if she does start as she is staying with us for the weekend. Glad she feels like she can talk to me about things.

    5. Had a good evening practicing hairstyles on DDs and nieces for SIL's wedding in 6 weeks.

Hope Your DH is ok Purple Kitten.

For all who need them prayers and love to you all.
Take care of yourselves as well as your loved ones and take offers of help.

Due to a variety of reasons recently I am taking a look at my life and focusing more on my loved ones and closest friends and enjoying simple pleasures.
  • 1)A day at a country show with DD1, so many lovely livestocks, competitions in the arenas and it stayed dry, wonderful stuff.

    2) England beat Australia convincingly, well done Eddie Jones, you've put the great back into English rugby!

    3) Lovely falafel wrap for lunch followed by a cherry yoghurt ice made in front of our eyes with real frozen cherries, was delicious.

    4) DD found the waxed jacket she's been looking for and at a good price, she also found and bought a beautiful Herdwick sheepskin for her lounge a very nice thing indeed.

    5) Think we're having fish and chips for supper so no cooking tonight, just as well as we walked 12 and a half kilometres at the show and my feet are tired.

Busy day today and feeling a little more positive than I have been feeling.

    1) DD2 thrilled to get her ears pierced this morning. DH was supposed to take her but that's another story and I'm focusing on positives.

    2) DH bought me dark chocolate digestives...my favourite biscuits.

    3) lovely cuddles from nephew (11 months). How can a big cuddle from a baby not make you feel good?!

    4) Aforementioned nephew & 5 yo niece that I am looking after are both fast asleep and look so angelic.

    5) sat having a quiet couple of hours whilst babysitting watching exactly what I want on TV.

Hello, thank you for your kind wishes and I'm happy to feel the love from Jenny

We have a week of scans and meetings this coming week , we will know more by Wednesday. Horrid limbo until then. Just utterly saddened by it all.

Anyway, I went to work this morning, opened up and we were rather busy. I only have 2 shifts to work and then I'm off for ages.

Got 3 fabulous hampers from our local optician yesterday for school fundraiser.

Phone call to friend from home this morning at very early o'clock.

Grocery shop that didn't cost a fortune.

Fish pie for dinner for the fish eaters and chicken for DD1 and I.
    Rtc profiteroles for pud.

Bit damp and dismal here .

Have a good Sunday and a lovely Father's Day ...not until September here.
