Never posted here before so hope I am doing it correctly

    1. Following the flylady thread, my kitchen now looks tidy and clean

    2. Made a lavender heart for a present for a friend as she is doing me a favour

3 Painted the horrid pine effect bookcase with some paint I already had - it now looks super

4 Got one A level essay marked

    5. Tea made from bits left in fridge so very OS

6.Water usually wasted down sink as its heats up, got put in a watering can for the plants

    7. Spent some time reading my library book
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

    Welcome, all newcomers!

    My five for today:

    1. My car needed to go to the garage again - came out yesterday morning and found that some kind person had snapped off my wing mirror - but it was fixed quickly by my local garage. They charged me much less than I expected, too.

    2. Finding out that my new foster cats, Fudge and Willow, will be arriving tomorrow! Can't wait!

    3. Short day at work, and more work has come in, so it's not so dull right now. Plus I completed something that's being hanging around for a while and which had been bugging me.

    4. Made my delicious savoury loaf for tea - enough for six meals, so the freezer will get most of it - and had it with lots of veg and mash. Yum!

    5. My homemade hummus for lunch, with pitta. Yum again!
Life is not a dress rehearsal.

    4. Even though another busy day at work decided not to work too late. Will just have to try to get in early in the morning

Hope you are all well and hugs to all who need them.

    Here's my five for today

    1. Damp dusted the living room today (can't use spray polish due to asthma & copd) so everything is back to normal after my month with Dear Dad.

    2. Found a cheap ultrasonic cleaner on ebay - so all of the rings etc I've inherited from Mom (some going back to grandparents and great great grands) can soon be sparkling clean.

    3. Found some cheap stacking herb planters again on e bay, I WILL get more home grown again!

    4. Seeds are sprouting left right and centre

    5. OH found 20+ fox glove plants self seeded in the lily pots he bought from the local garden centre, so plants for free.

    6. A lovely pork veg & pasta bake for tea, Meat left over from yesterdays roast.

A strange day today.......good and bad!

    1. Great one first off - for the first time since injuring my back in October last year I was able to swim 20 lengths of the pool - and I did it before going to work :) Double halo, lol.

    2. Rubbish one next....my car is dying :( Needs a new engine and not worth doing it on an oldish car :(:( The pleasure is that it's not dead yet and I can keep on putting oil in it very regularly and it will keep going for a while whilst I go and have fun working out what car I'd like next (and wondering how the heck I'm going to finance it!)

    3. Work was pants but it didn't send me into a frenzy of eating rubbish food/drinking vino. Phew!

    4. The sunshine, got my swimsuit dry for another swim and it looks like it'll be lovely again tomorrow, hoorah!!

    5. Had a lovely phonecall from a friend who is just as useless at me at keeping in touch and she's going to come over one night this week :)
