Checks fur. Sticks tongue out! Now peeps down!

5 Was out last day, round the basin of the canal. Otherwise known as the ocean. Gots some pictures of that church everyone wants to see in the wolds of cot, but have no idea where it is! It is round the back, ok! Got it?

    No clues!

4 Unfortunately last day, BoPsie, who does not afford top follow the rules of BoP, managed to get toasted. That was not all, as she mopped the floor in the morning, she was astounded that when BoP did the tea, of bat on carrots, garden peas, hot buttered and minted new tates, exceptional snorkers, and steamed leeks. BoP had a bounce out. BoP, who is abject of lobbing pans from the stove to the sink when finished with, tossed the steamer into the sink, only for it to bounce out completely, onto her nice clean floor. No water was spilt, as this was used to make the pan gravy!

3 Breakfast was a bowl of golden flakes covered in ice cold milk. Tea was also consumed, as well as fresh BoP spring waters with concentrated juices of oranges. Rubs Tum! Later, BoP will be eating his hugemongoose jelly, chunked fruits in lime jelly this week.

2 Nite we can have some more of the strawberries and ice cream, but as the weather is forecast for some rain later, it is not going to be on the BoP plaza. We call it the plaza, as normal patios are about half the size!

BoP's patented technologies bring you this message!

    Some pleasures for the weekend,

After days and days of cold rain we had some warm sunshine. All of a sudden our hedges are shooting up, will need to call my friendly garden chappie as too high for CS.

Spent time with my equine pal clipping off his feathers, hate to see them go but with warm weather he gets nibbly heels. Finished off with a lavendar wash, oh Billy E

Walking the girls on Saturday evening Tilly run up to something in the grass and "pointed" it out to me. It was a baby owl!! We have little owls nesting in the old walnut tree so guess it had fallen from nest. Could hear a parent calling so left it where it was, was gone in the morning but not sure if it was rescued or taken by a predator:(

Sunday lunch in the garden, the baby sparrows are now out of the nest and perching on the honeysuckle trellis demanding food from their worn out parents, sounds familiar :rotfl:

Biggest pleasure of the weekend was reserved for Sunday evening. Mr Bruce Springsteen at Wembley Stadium. He played for 3.5 hours non-stop and had us all in the palm of his hand. What a talented songwriter that man is and sssssh don't tell Captain Scarlet but my major crush too
  • 1) Picking 1lb 3oz of luscious ripe strawberries from the garden plot this morning and having a bowl of them for my lunch!

    2) Finding the first wild dog roses open when Cookie and I walked this afternoon.

    3) On the footpath from a distance I saw what I thought was a tree with problems as it seemed to be autumn colours and I thought Oh dear problems but when I got closer I realised that at some time someone in the garden behind it had planted a beautiful honeysuckle which had escaped its bounds and had climbed 30 feet up this tree and was covered in blossom all the way to the bottom, magnificent!

    4) Lunch on the patio accompanied by the perfume from a glorious yellow climbing rose in my neighbours garden which always comes over the fence to share itself with us its fragrance.

    5) A good nights sleep last night, we finally got the level of covers right and were comfortable, utter bliss!!!

Hi everyone, I've feel like I've been MIA but at least it was enjoying OS pleasures:). This weekend's included

    1. The weekend was a complete no spend (other than fuel that was already in the car and food already in the house). I think much of the pleasure was a reminder that good times can cost nowt!

    2. Long walk up a very big hill in glorious sunshine. The views from the summit were breathtaking.

    3. HM packed lunch at 875m. Great vistas, a sense of achievement and HM cake:). This was followed by a low level picnic by the lake before we headed home. One of those days where I felt truly glad to be alive.

    4. A run through the woods early in the morning when the sun was shining but it was lovely and cool. I also saw a heron.

    5. An early night and 9 hours of unbroken sleep that only comes with fresh air and being completely knackered!

    Today

    1. No problems at work.

    2. HM soup for lunch and freezer leftovers for tea so no cooking.

    3. Started a new book which I'm really enjoying.

    4. DD fairly relaxed after her first A'Levels. One down, 5 to go:(

    5. The garden is looking lovely - colourful and tidy.

    Quick pleasures for today (Monday)

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Everyone out of the house on time with water bottles, lunch etc.

    3) Big shift round at work with new timetables. Mine now 80% easier than it has been!

    4) Car went to the garage and has had 2 things mended. It has to go back on Wednesday so the driver's door window motor can be fixed.

    5) Did a bit of tidying up once home and watched Casualty.

    6) Went with sons to play table tennis at parents'.

    7) Went to see the hens (2 egg day) and one could see smaller son had the tub of "treats" and flew up onto his lap to have a look!

    8) Bread in the bread maker and yoghurt fermenting ready for the morning.

Bulbs, frith, bulbs. Rule of BoP. Knows lots about aircraft engines, b f all about cars. But has mine serviced regularly. And bulb. They are all separate now. Some garage call h has them. They even fit them, only BoP no pay the price.

    Right who's next?

5 Just got and eaten huge mushroom omelet thing for Breakfest. Rubs Tum. No golden flakes were eaten. Tea was drunk, with fresh BoP place Spring waters. Concentrate of orange juice was also drunk. One of the five a day! Rubs Tum!

4 Hugemongoose jelly, lime, with chunked fruits was tested yesterday. Served with proper vienetta. Rubbed Tum. Good for you. Strawbs and ice cream was also had later, with cheese salad. More than your five a day. Tum was rubbed.

3 BoP plaza, well we have a big patio! On BoP plaza las eve, wobbleade was poured out. Lovely. But this very morn, looks like the Hawks of Shi Tee have been using it as target practice. No wander raffles is mythed. He can't catch them.

2 This week is international picnic week. In days of old, we ate in door, and did number twos outside! Now we eat outside!

Wander as you gaze upon the beauty reflected in the mirror!

Ooh, just noted frith and yogurt maker. In KSA, BoP used maker of yogurt thing to brew yeast. It was deadly yeast! But could put the A back into beck's blue in about six days!

Good morning , it's silly o'clock over here but as usual I'm wide awake.

    So for yesterday

    Up early

Sorted out washing and ironing and more washing . Trying to get it dry is a pain, clothes horses everywhere , placed over the floor vented heaters to catch the heat when they are on, which is for a bit in the morning and a bit in the evening. I feel I'm like a laundrette at this time of year! The pleasure was getting it sorted before the next loads went on!

Had to go and see DD1's surgeon at his private clinic ( the pleasure being we were not charged for this visit! I had my bank card in my hand ready to pay. Wound is doing well ( phew, as I'm look after it!) the nurse we saw was the most lovely person , she was so nice and we had a good chat whilst waiting for doctor to come through. I told them about my experience with nurse on ward , disagreeing with how wound was to be cared for. Not to get anyone into trouble but to alert them to the fact that wrong information was being given which would have resulted in the wrong ongoing care and resulting problems from that. I was thanked for bringing it to their attention .

Had a nice lunch with OH and DD1 , I had a pumpkin pita pizza which was lovely.

Wrapped up warmly and went a damp walk with OH and dog. Popped into pharmacy ( again...I should have shares in the place!) the tablets I take are out of stock in Australia apparently, they were last month and I was given an alternative brand but they are now out of stock! Anyway, I have enough for only another 2 days, lovely pharmacist will get in touch with GP to get a new prescription for a slightly different variation. Mine are slow release and these will be instant release . This saves me $72 on going to GP myself.

We had pies and mashed potato and veg for tea and very nice it was too...cooked by OH. So even better that I didn't have to do it!

Today I'm catching up with a friend, have appointments for DD2 and her fabulous hips, she starts exams today...so more drama to her already dramatic life! I have PTA if I make it back in time from seeing specialist, I need to do housework as I'm now working both Thursday and Friday , both short shifts but no opening / no closing so that's fine. And it's extra money that is most welcome.

    Have a good evening :)
