    Evening everyone :hello:

:j :j Congratulations to PK on the new job! :j :j

I hope everyone had better luck on the Grand National than I did. :o

Pleasures for the last couple of days:

    1) Friend got a deal on a spa day, so took me to say thank you for supporting her through a rough time!

    2) Walked into town and back again. Nice morning for a walk.

    3) read a bit more of my book. Great finding time to read even for 10 minutes, as it really seems to relax me.

    4) Won a Clandestine Cake Club bag in a prize draw! :j :j Think the founder had some prototype bags made up. Anyway, I won one! :j :j

    5) Freezer is full for most meals for the next couple of weeks, whilst I get my head round being at school again.

    Night everyone

Firth: Ohh exciting news about the hens there.
Ampersand, It sounds like it’s all going well.
Lainey: Congrats, it’s always nerve wracking asking work to change.

Thank you for the work congratulations, it’s something in a different kind of company for me it will work the ol brain matter.

    1. We drove across to a local town for £land and CS’s, I managed to snaffle 2 pairs of boot cut trousers for a pound each which are going through the wash now, and 3 books for 50p, one was the Tibetan book of living and dying which I have had my eye out for out of curiosity for a while now.:)
    2. A lovely caf! meal which was large - I think they were using bits up before closing..:p
    3. The fruit and veg stand had a ridiculous amount in, we loaded up with 3 bags of stuff, just hope I can coordinate it all.
    4. The new diet while it is very hard, is working really well which is motivating me in return.:D
    5. Picked up a bottle of ginger wine and it might be rude not to have a half a glass.

    1. Coffee and chat with a friend. It has been a while since we had a long chat.

    2. Spent time in the garden. Planted seeds in the greenhouse- out of the wind and was lovely and warm.

    3. DS1 came round after work (which he is still enjoying) for a lift to rugby. He was very chatty for once.

    4. We won the rugby. Close at some points, which is usual but with too many visits to the TMO.

    5. DS2 texting with his opinion of the match and the ref decisions! Interesting at times.
  • Well done on the new job PK !

Glad you got your new hours agreed Lainey. It made a big difference to my work/life balance and health when I changed my hours from 4 long days to 5 mornings. Hope the change suits you better.

Frith - your boys appear to be very self sufficient - cooking and woodwork etc ... well done you - I know some people who complain their sons don't even leave their bedrooms / games consoles !

Woodwork, cooking, hours and new jobs. And relax.
    1. Crumpets with real butter for breakfast
You're Turning BoPineser, don't you think so!

5 Raffles, king of Hide and deek, was well in a huff last night. Would not even entertain his treats. Right huffy. Not even touched the left of sticky chicken or lemon chilli prawns. This morning, was still laid on side, huff mode. Oh well, he will get used to it. Just back from shop and he wants fussing. Yeah, hook line sinker, he finishes his treat. Normal service has resumed! Sleep, eat, lick paw, sleep, and sleep!

4 Just w8rs'd again, and for the second Sunday on the trot, a snorker feast of Dog Mash is on the way. Three butchers sausages, with caramelised onions, proper gravy, not that B carp. No kettle either! Served with cabbage, creamed broccoli, door stop carrots. Onions will be toe nail style!

3 Shopping was expensive this week, well nearly £23! BoPsie over did it with her shampoo, but was buy two and walk off with one. Their own all in one was grabbed off shelf, but the other prices at £4 a bottle, the quid shop is looked into again. Got to heat seek them bar guns.

2 We watched James Bond last night, From Russia with Love. Classic. Other Bonds are available!

    Grab it while you can!
