    1. I’m really pleased at how much tidying and de cluttering I’ve achieved today. I emptied all of the bathroom bits, tidied, de cluttered out of date and un needed items to the bin, a very big bag cleared out, all storage is cleaned and organised.:D

    2. Took a break for lunch a nice ham and mustard sandwich.

    3. I moved on to one of the storage hidey holes in the bedroom that’s hardly used and filled up a blue cross bin bag with old clothes that I’ve not needed for years.

    4. A long maxi dress I have had my eye on every day has finally come back with 2 offers one for 15% off and free postage, I snapped it up and it looks like everyone did as it’s now out of stock – phew.:o

    5. Face pack all done, nails all polished.

    6. I’m following my meal and diet plan but I am finding it hard, as its leaving me hungry so making me think of food more. It’s not the right “diet” for me so it will be trial and error, mulling over if maybe SW would suit.

    Some pleasures for today,

Weigh in day and have lost 4lbs in first week on the BSD. Apart from initial couple of headaches have felt fine and find myself with plenty of energy.

Popped into horsey town for some veg and dog food, also decided on colour of paint for front porch area, the re-vamping of chez Scarlet begins.

Spent afternoon with equine pal, lovely farrier couldn't make it in the end as had shoeing type emergency but enjoyed time with my lad. Experienced a " fen blow " for first time, basically cloud of dust driven by heavy winds, weird! otherwise it was April weather of sun and showers,. Bill fell asleep leaning over his stable door so I played frisbee with the yard dog. Have decided to hold off riding Bill for a while, he is still lame with arthritis, it may improve in the warmer weather, taking it one day at a time.

Tasty supper of nut burgers and roasted veg.

Sunset, dark clouds in apricot skies.

    Holiday day 2.

    1) A cooked breakfast in the youth hostel.

    2) Trains to Pevensey OK but then it rained and rained. :-( We did walk to the castle, and through the middle but everything fell apart at that point. The rain was horizontal, the nice tea rooms I remembered had gone completely and both pubs were shut and locked! The village was absolutely deserted. Went to the newsagents for a postcard of the castle and they didn't have any! Limped back to the train in saturated clothes. Was interesting to see it again (actually bigger than I remembered!)

    3) Went to a burger bar as recommended by the Guardian!

    4) Went on the beach where there was a storm. Good job we went on the pier yesterday as most of the rides were shut due to the winds.

    5) Went to SeaWorld.

    6) Walked round the lanes and had dinner at a Mexican restaurant.

    7) Another walk round the beach this evening.

Now trying to ignore lots of French students having very loud conversations and door slamming right outside our room.

Fresh tea is now brewing, biscuits covered in proper chocolate are to be devoured. No crumbs!

5 Was out at the bridge last night with BoPsie. We shared chilli and tikka, arf and arf. Tums were rubbed. Wobbleade was quaffed. Nice.

4 Back on the market, a position that BoP was not suited for. Obviously after three months, their are still looking for the square peg! N'ver mind.

3 There will be a new can of paint bought later, as BoP is house painitng shortly. should not take long. Probably paint the town red as well!

2 Nite is camera club, and entry day. I want my trophy back for picture of the year. So no peeps, but we are mega hopeful. Came second last season.

Be free to get involved in the BoPiness that delights your day!

    Stop BoP!
Just read that our luvvies have been sop grateful that a sponsor of the Edinburgh Festival is not longing doing it.
Care not these luvvies for the girl grafting on the checkout, but their own elitism. They live on in they rose tinted county, inn their own bubble lauding to us on how we should live, while using size fifteen carbon boots flying to the next award ceremony.

  • 1) Finally being home again and knowing I'll not have to go anywhere for a while, back to normal routine will be very nice.

    2) We went to a talk by Gordon Buchanan the wildlife film maker and photographer last night which was really good, interesting and entertaining, good stuff.

    3) Run home today was smooth and problem free, I've been to the shop and stocked us up, He Who Knows has lit the fire and I don't have to go out again today, smashing!

    4) The bluebells are out on the front lawn under the apple trees and very pretty they look too.

    5) I have lots of new ideas for the home gleaned from being in Sweden, it all looks so pretty out there so I'm starting off by gathering up some of the silver birch twigs from my neighbours boundary trees and making a wreath to go on the wall and then it will be pots of growing flowers indoors and out and using more candles rather than keeping them for emergencies, going to look at having a redecorate too for a more Scandinavian look, exciting!!!
