I come home to this!
Battle of Britain Class, Tangmere.
5 Told you I was steaming yesterday. That's that portfolio done then! Comp 1. Now for some stones!
4 Morning was frilled with Dippy Eggs and Marmite soldiers, made with proper butter, not that emulsified oil. Emulsions are for the wall, not for the stomach. With lashings of tea.
3 Just off to local duck ponds, and dropping BoPsie off. Then to get Raffles some food.
2 Nite BoP will be doing Haddock, in home made parsley sauce. BoPsie got the pan that was carbonised clean, Amazing what dishwashers can do. All is karma.
1 If you find the road you're on tough going, just think of the reward that awaits you footings.0 -

Not been MS - went for afternoon tea in London and then stayed for cocktails. It was lovely and very enjoyable and was for a friends hen do.
Now for some MS pleasures
1. Eating alpine strawberries from the garden. Totally free as the plants were there growing wild.
2. Chat with a friend who I hadn't spoken to in a while.
3. DS2 working and makes his own lunch as it tastes better than buying a sandwich and is cheaper. His words.
4. DH starting to enjoy time in the garden as he can see a time when its how we want it and not the wilderness it was.
5. Planting out some pumpkins which I've grown from seed.
6. Sunflowers are growing.0 -
Evening all! It's been a beautiful wintery day, a very chilly and foggy -1o first thing , a glorious sunrise and a very pretty blue sky once the sun warmed up ( maximum temp was 12o)
Chit chats with friend from home.
New wellys worn and out in the garden.
Grass cut ( by me and a heavy petrol mower....we have a huge area to mow) it looks a lot better.
Planted some geranium cuttings in my new greenhouse.
Local cafe with OH, his first coffee in 6 weeks.
Library for a couple of books .
Tidied my bedroom.
Made corned beef hash for tea, which was delicious ! Simple but tasty.
Do have a lovely day .0 -
Evening everyone :hello:
Took DH for his birthday (4 x 10 years old) treat to the most non-OS restaurant EVER. Well, I say that but they do grow some of their own veggies....It was an AMAZING experience and well worth the extra special treat. Of course, we won't be able to eat for the next year, but thank goodness I'd saved like mad for this moment.
So, my pleasures:
1) Ironing. Loads of it!
2) Weekly shop done, assisted by DH. Another special birthday treat for him :rotfl:
3) Planning all done and bits for a new child, who starts tomorrow, all sorted.
4) £18 payable on TopCashback! :j :j
5) Visit to the garden centre and bought a beautiful clematis which DH has attached to our fence. Lovely!!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
1) A visit from my DD and grandson for lunch and a bit of the afternoon.
2) The sheer joy of a 16 month old when given warm strawberries straight off the plant to eat in the garden.
3) On our walk this evening in one of the lanes we came upon a work gang baling hay and loading the bales on to trailers, the smell took me straight back to childhood, we watched them for half an hour.
4) Just along the lane a bit further was a bank of wild honeysuckle releasing its perfume into the evening air, beautiful.
5) Swallows hawking for insects over the uncut hay field on the other side of the lane, they're such elegant birds.0 -
1. Washing on the airer (and it's rained too much to go outside)
2. Another load in machine - "new" CS items which are needed and which fill gaps in the wardrobe, so no wastage.
3. HM chicken and rice for dinner
4. Watching an old Jackie Chan DVD - sad I know but I do love it!
5. Finished half a bag of white chocolate buttons. I don't care if I'm middle aged or not - they were WONDERFUL!!!Looking ahead0 -
