4 You has to be careful with the live out bag, as most plaices serve carp. There are four day old sandwiches, looking sad in Marks. Miss. The queue for the burgers is stupendous. Can people not know good food these days. Settles for his banana, and biscuit tonight. Rubs tum.
3 Listening to cricket. Up. Down. Oh Bulls!
2 Night BoP is reading his book. Another chapter to do.
1 There is a difference between beauty and charm. I take notice of the beauty of the girl. The charm of the lady, notices me!
Please be careful, an offer to use the toilet, means you have to raise the seat!
PS. Boycott SinBug. They do not buy Grimsby Fish.0 -
He’s still hanging on in there it’s been hard and tearful, doctors are now saying he could rally a bit but don’t expect it to last for goodness sake. Frayed nerves somewhat best ignore them I think:p

1) a very agile buzzard being mobbed by two gulls right over our garden, the buzzard was flying rings round the gulls and just letting them get close before either almost back flipping away or just folding wings and dropping before soaring up past them, magic to watch.
2) watering in the polytunnel and garden this evening, always smells marvelous and makes me happy.
3) Tea out at M&S cafe after we'd been to the local shopping village.
4) Lunch made from homegrown produce, lentil and vegetable stew, yummy!
5) Two slow worms basking in the sun on the grass in the garden this morning, we're so lucky to have them in the garden, and we have a couple of resident toads in the greenhouse too!0 -
1. A last warm half hour in the garden with a cup of tea
2. Bringing in the washing (then hanging it back out again thanks to OH having "helpfully" watered the lawn next to the airer, grr!
3. Using Method cleaner for the first time. Smells lovely and actually seems to work! Normally use the cheaper stuff but had a supermarket points coupon and needed £2.00 to bring it up to the "right" level LOL
4. Watching my canaries dive-bombing each other over the coffee table
5. A big glass of cold tap water. Sometimes I forget to be grateful for the simple luxuries in life ...Looking ahead0 -
PK - continuing to think of your dad, you & the rest of the family. xx
mhags - always a surprise when there's the surprise of the chilli!
Pleasures today:
1) Another NSD. That's two this week! Let's go for a hat trick tomorrow.
2) Salad for supper
3) Arrived home to find that the cat has been brave enough to use the cat flap, but she whipped through it when I got home from work. MIL was on the phone to DH earlier, saying how they've never liked cats, horrid dirty creatures.Ok, so they're not everyone's cup of tea, but why be so horrid and bitter about it? On the plus side, it means that MIL won't be round to see us any time soon. Admittedly they only live around the corner and we normally go to see them, but still.....
4) Realised that, as lovely as it is to go on holiday, I don't NEED to go again this year. I know I'm in a blessed position that I'm able to go away, but there's plenty going on closer to home and maybe I can just visit friends over the October half term, instead of flexing my cards...
5) Counting down to seeing my friend who is flying over to see us this weekend for a meal out with other friends as the (final) celebration for DH's big birthday... Can't wait!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -

PK - thinking and praying for you and your family.
1. Still enjoying work. It makes a huge difference to life. I'm far less stressed and my back feels so much better.
2. Everybody out in the evening so only needed to cook for me. I achieved so much more than usual as no interruptions.
3. Watering the garden and delight as my cucumbers are nearly ready to be picked.
4. Seeing how well the fruit trees are doing - mainly the apples but they were only planted this year and my blueberries and gooseberry are doing well.
5. Reading my kindle with a coffee outside in the evening Sun.0 -
1) Visit and walk to the arboraetum and using our membership to get in, not having to pay!
2) Standing transfixed by the big lake and watching some bright metallic blue dragonflys hunting over the lily pads, beautiful.
3) A lovely walk this afternoon with Charlie the retriever and his mum long the footpaths and down the lanes, had Docky with us too, well in my head anyway!
4) Swallows hawking over the fields, and a couple of Roe Deer in the hay field that was baled up on Sunday.
5) Apple danish x 2 reduced to 39p each in the Co Op this morning enjoyed with afternoon cuppa in the sun in the garden, Yum!!!0 -
Apple Danish and a cup of tea hummm yummy I always say it tastes better when you get half price
1. Sold some more bits on fleabay this morning. Came to the conclusion that although selling stuff is good money in my pocket, not spending out in the first place would be better
2. Got the catalogue through today from Emma Bridgewater ready for the sale tomorrow! Not sure if that is a good thing but a cappuccino and a good browse through made me feel better.
3. Decided to have a meal tonight from things that needed using up, so felt quite virtuous
4. Cup of tea and a ham sandwich sat in the conservatory at lunchtime was a nice touch
5. Haven't done any washing this week - yet - what with drizzle and rain it will keep until Saturday.Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:
