    Evening everyone :hello:

Ampersand - eeek, all sounds a bit worrying, but good that the incidents are lessening.

My gammy eye is still erm, gammy. Desperately wanting the antibiotics to kick in as the number of people who are being lovely is a) great and lovely but b) concerning that's the first thing they see on me! Colleagues are still being wonderful and are sharing the eye ointment administering during the day! :A

    Pleasures for today:

    1) Picked the first radish from our garden and put it in our salad this evening.

    2) New Lakeland catalogue has dropped through the letter box. Lovely! Not OS by the time I've marked everything I need. ;)

    3) Manoeuvring of money around my accounts and paying my credit card bill. :A

    4) Washing machine has been busy today.

    5) Hopefully seeing a friend at the weekend! :j

Today was the hardest work day so far, watching the phone waiting for the call about DF, tomorrow will be the same sadly, but if nothing pre empts it I will be out of the door like greased lightning and over to the hospital tomorrow afternoon, though I unfortunately suspect this may be sooner rather than “when I plan”. We had to go over to his house yesterday after visiting and DH said it doesn’t “it’s like loss is already in the house”.
I can find a few pleasures
    1. After a terrible journey home tonight I did delay repay as it was over an hour late.
    2. I’m home with the animals and DH
    3. Entering the lottery
    4. Animals being overly attentive

Ohh Purple Kitten - what a blummin shame :( By the way we are stopping the lottery come October. They are adding in another ten balls taking it from 1-49 to 1-59 now. We will play the odd lucky dip but the regular numbers will be obsolete now I guess. Needed an excuse to stop and this looks like it.

    1. Three loads of washing on and out on the line this morning.

    2. Gone through the kitchen and finalised off the food shopping list then pootled off to Aldi. Well chuffed only spent £28.00, but have loads!

    3. Walked the dogs nice and peaceful

    4. Listened to some music while finishing off the ironing and also meal planning at the same time.

    5. Nice hot shower and now a clean bed beckons :D
Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money :D

Please please please take care of you &! I am a little worried about you!!!
Holed up in hotel tonight! At a conference and conference dinner was nice! Met some interesting people and lots of chat and good food!
was downgraded from conference hotel to next door budget hotel cos if over booking! Hotel ok! Bed shower clean! And refund to boot!
Calls x 10 from home saying DS kicking off!!! Not a lot I can do!

Thought our chat yesterday would prevent this! Sometimes it's so hard!!! But keep plodding as not much else for it!!

    Hi

VJsmum - I have a friend who lives in HK and he to was at the Drunken Duck on Friday, small world we live in. Safe travels.

wow singapore vjsmum you certainly get around

Erm, excuse me, missus - you don't do so bad yourself :D

    PK - gentle hugs.
    you too, Ampersand

Busy busy busy busy - they are very kind here, wanting to take us out and about but it does interfere with what i need to do. I will have to be firmer in future with saying "no lunch", "earlier nights". Up late because in late, breakfast, 2 hours work, 2 hours meeting, 2 hours lunch (With colleagues, so really you work), 2 hours work, evening work with students and then out till late. Not really that glam despite the location. HK is easier as there is less expectation socially.

    pleasures

    1 - 100. home today :j:T
    101 - warm sunshine
102 - we are starting to shape them up
    103 - skype
    104 - mango
105 - infinity home today! (though arriving tomorrow after a short day trip to Dubai :p)

Did i say i was going home today! Soooooo happy
I wanna be in the room where it happens
  • This post has to be consumed within three days. Store in the fridge.

Oh no, look at the time. Sun's out. Duvet off. BoP off! :heartpuls to PK. :heartpuls to others.

5 Back on the nest. Roosting. Apparently gorilla got out last nite and turfed the drawers over. Should see the mess. Could be nite mere about zombies and the silvery Tay!

4 Apart from that, good to see nest in order! Now having hair breakfast of flakes of golden sunshine. Other breakfast is available. Then had some toast and jam. Please use within days.

3 And on the way home last eve, super bus was held at the Poxford lights. And we sliced through the hamburger. Buck of Face pal, was cut up by a black car of Germanic extraction could not shake off the motor of BoP. Good show.

2 Day BoP is mostly doing not a lot!

1 You cannot wear the it during the day, so stop trying to buy malaria nets!

    1. Please listen, as & is doing, as we speak:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b05y16mx
Glorious Gloomsbury - can feel Sue Limb's cleverclogs uproarious on-a-roll time in its writing, ditto cast in performing, let alone &[and all of you] listening. Such fun!

    2. Spoke to NZ. Parcels arrived. Cousin's awaits his actual date, Monday. As for blvd Uncle: 'Let's say, we knew what to do with the contents!' Def. appreciated. Cousin's son's 1st XV progress continues well[big school rivalry victory yesterday], bit of a star no.6[in news], which was Uncle's pos. & could tell he liked this:-) He wants to be a Banker, not a Flanker, make serious money!

    3. Ate first 3 strawberries yesterday. Hadn't seen them at all, very hidden[and late, compared with yours, Frith].

    4. Good slow bus meander>town>Library. Deliberate big walk in on/off yellow thing and chill wind. 7 new books. Wandered to gardens and nearly finished one before last village bus back, with intermittent people-watching. Peter May's latest: Runaway - v.g. Re-reading Arnold Bennett again, a fine wide-ranging author whose visibility drops to obscure, rises to brilliant, according to 'publicity' mores.

    5. Blowed if anyone leaps out for me in LP leadership 'contests'[silly term]. Tonight may change that. Only fair that I listen, question, do some homework.
Is & up for a heckle? - usually:-) Now just hearing pm trying to make a passable fist of a speech.

bop - Raffles chucking furniture? Is he bored without nightly scrabble?

vjm - grey sploppy rain forecast for touchdown day , yellow thing remote needs new batteries. Welcome back to albion estival. Hie thee to the Honey House soonest. Son's exam results are when?

Rather a lot of hugs and prayers and thoughts are needed all round, it seems.
Plus 'Safe Home's for others - judi:-), with hug from son. Diss. is well on way and you can Bank that refund straight into your mindset a/c.

Vicky - eye infection sounds persistent and nasty. Run down? End of year saying Hurry Up?

kk - at a loss re: ☺ in your post??? School trip Badge of Courage hereby awarded.
Well, that's odd - what I paste from kk's post doesn't reproduce like for like. More nahnahland sillies from &notspot.
Had not unknown mess when phoning enzed earlier. 1 - dead hissing sound. 2. 'Le num!ro que vous d!sirez n'est pas atrribu!' - that happens often, too, even tho' tisn't France I'm calling. 3 - long high wawa sound. 4. Aunt answers.

pk - ((((((())))))) - and it's Friday. Well done for holding on through work.
